Sharing my timeline for IV in Guyana Embassy

Today I reviewed status in CEAC, and is showing IN TRANSIT, but I haven't received any IL yet.

I tryed something, signing-in in ais.usvisa , created a user name with my NVC Case Number, and then I knew that my interview date was already set on their Schedule for Sep 13, 2023, even without receiving the IL.

Somehow, almost 2 months before DQ, I "received" IL, with a timespam of 6 weeks for ID.

I have already schedule medicals, just with the confirmation from ais.usvisa. Will keep you informed.

After a long waiting time (Panama Police Clearance), finally I was able to resubmit the documents as per RFI and NVC received the documents today (mailed/paper).

Now wait for DQ, IL, ID

Still no updates on mine, delivered at NVC on April 14th. I had to send our civil documents by mail as I'm EB2. Do mail-in documents normally take longer? Does anyone know? I'm driving myself crazy waiting 😬

EB1 and EB2, as mail documentation process, will take a little bit longer than CEAC uploading. You can check this Group for EB1/EB2 only, with information about our timelines. Hope it is usefull. Be patient... everything will be ok.

Good day everyone,

UPDATE: I just received today at 1 AM an email with RFI. Consider that my process is EB2

NVC didn't accept our police records from Panama, it didn't had apostille 😶.

Now I need to look for a Lawyer in Panama to help me with that, as I don't live there anymore. And the process to get the police certificate according to the Panamanian Agency, is at least 10 days + requesting online the process for apostille, and then they will give you an appointment.

I will keep you informed about when I resend the documents, and any further notice.

But, from the bright side, NVC reviewed my documents in 14 days. I think that is really good for EB mailed processing times.

Mine were mailed - EB2 Category.
