  1. not from the uk, but i got my position technically outside the US. for a NIW position, your "specialization" should be helpful. search consultancy agency in your field, also check out ad placement of firms/ institutions you are interested in. since you have PR status/visa on hand you will be given consideration more than someone in your field who isn't a citizen or PR. all the best in your search.
  2. you should be closer at this point. sooner than later you are next.
  3. hey rocha, any clue on IL for RIO?
  4. Highly doubt we see any retrogression for this fiscal year. Will expect march VB to give an idea what spring through summer allocation will look like. That been said, FAD progression will be gradual/ slow as we have seen since summer last year.
  5. search CR1IR page on Facebook (it's a public page with current info about Lagos consulate IL update by people waiting) to keep up with monthly update. The last IL in November 2023 covered up till March 2023 DQ.
  6. Bro/ sis . Congratulations on the kid . Don't shoot yourself in the foot, since the child is expected to arrive prior to interview, you will have to include him or her to save you the hassle.
  7. @snm2212 not suprising at all, it's snail season with regards to movement in PD for this fiscal year. probably by 2nd quarter they may move things around. @Rocha3 going through last year thread for Interview letters, things may pick back up by December -January for those with Current PD.
  8. At this point go with what your lawyer suggest and not what a random person here will suggest. it should not be this complicated as stated earlier, have your lawyer reach out to the consulate in Australia or UK to see where you are eligible to transfer, the consulate pretty much has final say on information that will be requested. usually paramount information requested will be proof of legitimate presence in the region you are transferring to. If you have what is required provide, if not 🤷🏿‍♂️ .....
  9. Do as you please. The premise of stating to use parent's or spouse address has no fraudulent intention. Whenever visiting my home country where do i reside ? either with my parent or spouse or sibling that are listed as my contact on my ds-260 and still have ongoing proof of residence i.e utility bills, etc If i am transferring my case to my home country, only sensible to use that information. Otherwise, why will i transfer the case in the first place?
  10. Don't complicate things, use your uk address (Parent or spouse), proof of address or any other proof that london consulate request may be i.e local phone number, utility bill (Phone bill for international roaming shouldn't be difficult to use or get.),etc.
  11. while i am not the referred person. You are correct.Lagos has cleared 2022 DQ EB2 cases. Left with January through october 2023. Not sure when they get back to that. seem erratic the way they go about scheduling.
  12. @Kw1097 do you care to update your chart to help people get an idea of what scheduling looks like? Congrats!
