  1. Hi, Same happend to me. I submitted both fee on April 19th. Payments were out of my bank account on April 20th. Then we submitted all the required documents in hope of review. In first week of May I received an email that the payment is rejected. I contacted NVC through public inquiry form. They replied a generic answer if the status shows rejected then I will have to pay again. Duplicate/rejected payment will be credited in 30 days. Even though I provided them my bank statement that shows both payments paid to them..I also contacted the pay.gov on the phone. They said that the agency took the payment will authorize and refund not pay.gov. its such a bad system. I didn't want to wait 30 days so I went a head and paid both fee again. I also contacted my bank for the duplicate payment. They said that I can file a dispute but I am waiting for nvc 30 days period which is approaching soon but I don't see any refund so far. I will wait till next week before I file a dispute with my bank. I think they have issues with their system at NVC. I have seen post back dated from 2015 with same issues. 🙃🙃
  2. Thank you. Make sure to check documents tab on your account. In most cases the approval notice is there. Good luck and fingers crossed for you. TJ&NP.
  3. Finally got approved from Vermont service center. Its been a long road since December 2021. Case changed to activate review. I checked the document tab and approval notice was there. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting. I hope it won't be long.
  4. Hello, I applied for my wife on December 24th 2021. My application received notice came from Texas service center. After a year of waiting I called uscis and was told that the case is in vermont service center. I thought I could submit a service request based on Texas service center but I was wrong. Anyway it was showing September for inquiry now time is increased and it says that out of normal processing time will be November 2023. I contacted senators but no difference. All they say the case is in normal processing time. Its insane that only i130 takes two years for some us citizens but for some a few months. No criteria. All they say every case is different which is a BS. Another lie they tell us that uscis process cases in order they receive. This agency is a joke. I feel sorry for you as I feel for myself and all others who are waiting just for the damn i130, As there will be another wait at state department. I dont know when this will end.
  5. Hi, You can take that certificate to nadra and ask them to issue you a new one with your marital status that shows divorced. They do have two options unmarried and divorced for male applicants. Or you can leave it unmarried it is up to you. You can tell nadra personal that your divorce took place in the U.S and was not registered in Pakistan incase Nadra asks. I have same issue but I chose divorced on nardra certificate... I told them that I was divorced in the U.S ! The reason I would get the certificate which shows divorced because when you file I-130 you will have to submit prior divorce papers with it. You want to keep everything clean and same or you might have to explain it later if uscis/state department ask you or your spouse. Why to chose divorced? Because at the time of your second marriage you were divorced or you can say technically unmarried but not single. I hope this helps.
  6. I am at the same boat. 14 months and no sign of I-130 approval yet but I know a person who filled at the same time and was approved in 20 days and now have a interview coming in a few weeks. What does that tell you?
  7. Wow that was quick for i-130 approval...18 days. You are only lucky dude. Good luck on your journey for final visa. I first time sponsored my wife too. 14 months and still no sign of i-130 approval yet.
