    I have a lawyer, they uploaded it on other category my CEAC account. Also I mailed them my documents with passport.

    I'm same here, exactly same scenario. I'm waiting around 10 weeks still is refused. More than 2 months still didn't review my joint sponsor documents. I'm in Montreal embassy.

    Is it helpful to send an email every 10 days? Is it helpful to ask help from senator or congressman? It's end of 8th week. And no update at all. They answered to the second email but didn't update my case, just confirmed that they have documents and is still processing. I just want to know how long I have to wait for my passport? They said is between 6 to 8 weeks. Now 8 weeks passed.

    I'm wondering why they don't reply to my husband's email inquiry. My husband sent 2 emails in last 3 weeks. But for both of them they didn't reply. I sent another one last week as well. We are sending to the correct email with right subject. It's my 8th week. I wasn't at background check, only asked for joint sponsor. But they are acting weird. Don't know what to do now

    Hi, I'm at end of my 7th week after they received my passport and additional documents. It's different for anyone, I didn't see anyone got back their passport sooner than 6 weeks.

    Hello, I sent back my joint sponsor documents with passport to Montreal. They had it on 18th September, also uploaded in CEAC. Last update was 28th September. I'm at the end of the 7th week. We already sent emails. Any advice about what to do if didn't hear back till end of 8th week? Has anybody else here in same situation?

    We sent an email 2 weeks ago didn't get any response, so sent another one 5 days ago. I'm on my 7th week, after sending back my passport with joint sponsor documents. Do not know what to do. I changed my location to my friend's house. Don't know if they want to see the same address on my ID as well. 🤔🤔

    I gave back my apartment's key, that's why I'm staying at airbnb. Didn't know I will get 221g for a joint sponsor, bcuz nvc already approved my husband income. Made a mistake and moved out soon. I'm in 6th weeks so hopefully will get an issue on my CEAC so soon.

    My husband sent an email last week on Thursday. But no update till now. I'm so stressed, I'm staying at airbnb. It's so expensive. Do I need to rent a room for next month or just book airbnb for the next 2 weeks. Are they sending back passport on 6 to 8 weeks?

    They have my passport, but my case is still refused, when can I check my passport status in USTRAVELDOCS? I checked now it says there is no update status available for this passport

    Today is my second day of 6th week. I saw documents check for most of people took 6 week to receive back their passport, don't know the maximum weeks waiting for them to send back my passport.

    Hello I received the 221g white paper at interview, they asked for a joint sponsor. I sent back the i864 form and the w2 and tax return, including my passport as well. They received it on 18th September and uploaded on CEAC on 15th September. Last updated was on 28th September. This is my 5th week. Do you think it's better to send them an email or just wait?

    Hello I had my interview on 11th September, the consular officer gave me the white paper for 221-g refusal and asked for a joint sponsor because my husband had only 300 dollars less than their requirements, he had 21407 on his w2 and an additional income of about 4500 dollars, which she did not look at it. BTW I sent back my joint sponsor i864 form with tax returns and w2 for 2022, with my passport on 13th September which was received by them on 18th. also, submitted it all on the NVC website on 15th September. there were 2 times updates on my application but it is not approved yet. How long it takes time to get approval for my visa?
