What is your timeline? How did you get your green card was it through marriage?
Was the marriage denied due to bonafides?
I came to the USA as a refugee, she was denied because they think the marriage is not back by law because non of us resident in Cameroon but since I can’t go back to Nigeria to sign we did it in Cameroon

Yaounde is in Cameroon not Nigeria... are you a naturalized USC originally from Nigeria petitioning a spouse from Cameroon?
Or are you an LPR from Nigeria petitioning a spouse... you first posted in the Permanent Residents forum but have since posted in the CR1/IR1 forum...
How did you obtain your green card/citizenship?
I would also like to add... it might not have been smart to request another interview... there is a chance the embassy was just going through background checks and they would have been happy to issue the visa to your spouse without her having to return... it has happened to other applicants in the past...
I’m a Nigerian my spouse is in Cameroon and we got married in Nigeria but I live in the USA, permanent residence. My spouse was denied a visa at her first interview so it’s not like she was going through background checks or anything, they denied her the visa.

That’s not how it works. If they decide to do a second interview, they’ll notify the visa applicant. You can’t just decide you want one.
I mean, I requested a follow up interview because it’s been over a month and her passport is not return to her. So I wrote them requesting for a follow up interview and they accepted and sent me an interview date.

Does not happen like this. What was the denial reason? Is this a CR1/IR1 or K1?
C21 for spouse, her passport has been held for 2months now even before I requested another follow up interview.

If after an interview your spouse was denied a visa, and after a month you email the consulate and request for another follow up interview to reconsider their decision saying you have a new evidence and the immigration schedule another interview, is it a positive thing? Because I know if you are denied a visa your application is returned back to the nvc as said in their email.

We have been waiting since September 2022. Last time IL were sent was early September 1.
I don’t know what month they are working on. Data on here isn’t consistent to really know.
Did you finally get an IL from the embassy?

Hello all,
I looked at Nov. submission topic, and they created a table that is very cool so I duplicated it for us. Please feel free to edit/correct and repost if needed. I used what shown in here https://visawhen.com/nvc , using 12/26/2022 update.

It's been a quiet day, no DQs or RFEs anywhere on the internet to find. I personally hope to see some November reviews by tomorrow or Saturday.

There’s no need for an inquiry, as it won’t speed up your DQ. Just add the joint sponsor and make sure all the documents are added under their name all over again. Good luck!
I added her about 2 hours ago but it’s showing me N/A so how do I upload the documents? Thanks

Looks to me like you didn’t click on “add joint sponsor” when submitting your joint sponsor’s documents. You won’t be DQ’d til you do that.
True that’s wat happened I didn’t add a joint sponsor. I just added the documents under my name. I wasted almost 2 months because of Ignorance. SMH

So it is not saying "DOCUMENTARIYLY QUALIFIED" anywhere, but says the docs are accepted, nothing says rejected. But notes says to upload tax transcript. I would suggest to keep the necessary asked docs ready, and put in a public enquiry to make sure they hear this.
I have sent in an inquiry and I will just upload the joint sponsor documents for incase. Thanks

Hi! I originally submitted my documents in July and got RFE in September. I uploaded by documents on Oct 22nd (I think) and heard back yesterday that everything was accepted except our marriage certificate they wanted us to upload a better version. We finally figured out the problem, but now I am trying to submit the document and its saying the police and military records are missing, but when you scroll down you see that it has been uploaded and accepted.
Has anyone read about this before? My real question is do I re-upload it even though it has already been accepted OR do I click the option "Not Availible"
Yes just upload the documents because they won’t put you in queue for interview until all documents are complete.

It didn't happen to me, but people on Facebook and on here are saying it got fixed.
If it has been going on for 2 weeks, it's not "quick", haha.

This is a new bug that's been going on for 2 weeks. Ignore it and don't freak out. People have tried to pay again and the system doesn't let them anyway
Okay I will try to write them and find out because it’s funny how it shows accepted and then pay now.

I paid my AOS fee back in August it was processed and a receipt was issued to me as paid, I went ahead and submitted my documents which has been accepted as well but I went to my ceac I saw the AOS status change to pay now which I paid already and my documents are still accepted on the status. My question is should I just go ahead and pay the AOS fee again just to limit delays since I can’t reach them on the phone to discuss the issue. ?

If you don’t meet the minimum income for a sponsor and you received a FE review so you pay another AOS fee for a joint sponsorship?
Second Interview after denied (split)
in Bringing Family Members of Permanent Residents to America
Posted
Yes I think so and her passport has been with them for almost 2 months now since she was denied a visa. I’m even surprised they gave her a second consulate interview after requesting.
