  1. What does it mean that my visa status check says “ready”? This is on the US dept of state/ CEAC website. It shows that my case was created January 11th and was last updated February 6th. I used the case number provided to me by emailing NVC inquiry in order to check my case status. That email response from NVC inquiry also let me know that my petition was forwarded to the US embassy in Manila on January 30th. Should I have received something through email from NVC if my case was already forwarded to the embassy? Thanks to all who read and respond 🙏🏽
  2. I took your advice and received my case number. Thank you!
  3. Thank you! Currently it’s been over two months since NOA2 , so could be up to another month now. Thank you for the info!
  4. I filed an I-129F, not an I-130. The most recent 797 was on 12/9/23 stating that the petition has been approved and will now be transferred from USCIS to NVC. The notice also stated that it should take up to a month to receive next correspondence.
  5. Hello all! I received NOA1 1/19/23. I received NOA2 12/9/23. I haven’t received any correspondence since then. What should I expect next, correspondence stating that the case is at the NVC or that it’s at the embassy? Is it normal that I haven’t heard anything for over two months now? I sent an inquiry to NVC in order to gather info on if my case was already received and if/when it was assigned a case number. I was told: “The NVC is unable to assist you with your inquiry. Please direct your inquiry to the US embassy or consulate processing your petition.”. What should I make of this?
