  1. The problem is... Nobody can tell you that with certainty or even approximation. Telling users what to say or not say on VJ violates TOS. Good luck!
  2. I was a skeptic about electronic filing, since my AOS and ROC were filed on paper. But after filing N-400 electronically, I can say it's more convenient. The only reasons to file on paper is fee waiver or you have non-standard answers. Online form is strict about what you can type in answers to questions. Paper is more flexible in this regard.
  3. I-131 can be submitted together with I-485 and I-693. I-131 can only be filed if I-485 is filed with it or there's already I-485 on file.
  4. Nobody can give you timeline. It's individual and different for each case.
  5. Official tips for filing on paper don't specify whether evidence should be printed single sided or double sided: https://www.uscis.gov/newsroom/alerts/recommendations-for-paper-filings-to-avoid-scanning-delays My lawyers always printed single sided, bearing in mind somebody has to scan everything into the system. Others can comment, I'm sure some VJ folks printed their evidence double sided.
  6. Not if your spouse a US citizen. This will be forgiven if you disclose the overstay. However, case may always be denied for other reasons. Anybody out of status can be be deported. However, if you have pending I-130, I-485 and documentation of this, the deportation is unlikely.
  7. What is I-1864? Yes, bringing up to date information and current editions of forms is the key to success.
  8. Temporary work visa is inconsistent with your immigrant intent. Your I-130 is pending because you're planning to live in the US.
  9. As harsh as it may sound, but there are solid universities in Canada. AP is pretty expected based on country of your origin, sadly. Good luck!
  10. This is normal. It can take 4-8 weeks to get receipt.
  11. They should. You need some proof of status. Extension letter alone doesn't prove you have a legal status in the US.
  12. The MyProgress tracker is an inaccurate unreliable software. It can show and disappear from website and it's nothing to do with your case. 1) When did you file? 2) How did you file (paper or electronic)? 3) What is your local field office? Do you live close to Kansas City, MO? NBC is irrelevant
  13. I'm very confused by this question. What do you mean by filed in NBC? For N-400, you file either by paper or online. The processing time depends on local field office, which typically is a closest big city, such as New York, NY.
  14. A website that pulls public data from USCIS. Anybody can check any case status here without logging in... https://egov.uscis.gov/
  15. Well, some people may think they're scheduled fast because there's something wrong with their case. While this may be true for I-485, I don't believe this applies to N-400.
  16. I also got scheduled rather quickly. Was thining 5-6 months but got notice in 2 months. There seems to be about 20-25% of people who get scheduled very quickly. I guess the lucky ones. Good luck!
  17. Not suprising at all. I thought it would be 5-6 months for me to receive the interview notice. 2 months was a shocker.
  18. December 2024 filers data as of today:
  19. For February 2025, only 2 lucky filers were scheduled for interview so far.
  20. What exact docs were submitted for this? Tax return transcripts from IRS website? Which years? Do all years have 100K income? How big is household size?
  21. Ok, but which supporting docs did you submit for these forms? You don't have to publish sensitive data, but just describe so we understand.
