  1. Still file I-765 and I-131 in your AOS packet. It's free when filed with I-485. You can have multiple EAD cards, no problem. It's better to have one now, in case your current one expires, so you don't have to stop working while renewing your EAD.
  2. For domestic travel - you can travel with Real ID (driver's license / state ID just fine). No need for passport, no need for GC. How do complete online check in with passport only for international travel to the US? Every time I traveled with big airlines such as United, it asked for passport details and then for visa or GC details. It couldn't complete check me in online and I had to show documents at the airport. As far as I know passport is a must for international air travel and has to be provided no matter what. GC is what CBP want to see when you enter the US. You need valid passport, GC and extension letter to re-enter the US by air.
  3. USCIS is still around in 3023 and still backlogged? Oh my! Any pending I-751 cases from 2023? Those must be bonafide marriages for sure for joint filers.
  4. Congratulations! That's amazing news!
  5. It can be bouncing for a while. USCIS may not know what to do with it because it's still potentially under court jurisdiction. Eventually then may close it. Imagine waiting another few years to find out they cannot adjudicate it. Better to consult with somebody who deals a lot with removal proceedings.
  6. I always heard it's done the other way round as @Demise described. Have you consulted with any other attorney? Does your attorney have a lot of experience dealing with cases like yours? Are they real attorney?
  7. You may be issued an RFE for missing year, which can slow down your case. At the same time, if you delay filing, that's not much better than RFE. It's up you. If filing taxes takes a week or two, I'd wait. But if it takes long time, then file as is. RFEs can add from few more weeks to several months in additional processing time.
  8. Do you file taxes jointly? If yes, submit them. You need taxes for the past 5 years if filing under 5 year rule and 3 years if filing under 3 year rule. If $0 was the income for some years, tax should still be filed. Don't give USCIS an easy way to send you RFE / deny your case.
  9. Yes, you can give it a shot. Some people were allowed to attend their biometrics appointment days before scheduled time. This is in general, not related to this particular ASC.
  10. I think you should. Children can have major difficulties later in life if this isn't done.
  11. Did you live with your husband all this time? Do you have proof? Marital union is crucial for N-400 under 3 year rule. Be prepared for everything.
  12. Sorry to hear, this must be very frustrating. You can sue USCIS for decision, by filing Writ of Mandamus. You can either do it yourself (costs $402) by following instructions here: Or you can search YouTube. There's a lawyer who specializes in suing USCIS (costs ~$5000). That's his favorite thing to do.
  13. Unless they're interviewing other people?
  14. That's why I keep writing everywhere: please use checks. But nobody listens. Sorry to hear about it, I hope you get your receipt notice soon.
  15. Why does it matter? I-765 is just another type of ID.
  16. There's tons of useful information on this forum. Go through guides on VJ as well as relevant forums. Check 20-30 threads about similar cases and don't hesitate to ask questiins. You can do it!
  17. There's no wording such as "cumulatively" or "in total". IMHO this question should be interpreted literally. If in doubt, can list both in additional information section to be bullet proof.
  18. That is true This is not true. The reason why @Don0 will lose Philippines citizenship is due to their citizenship laws, not US.
  19. I think you need a lawyer. Misrepresentation and I-601 is not a walk in the park. One wrong move and you'll get denied and put in removal. One wrong move and you'll never be eligible for any immigration benefit in the US.
  20. That's normal for I-751 Yes, check here https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ Make sure to take your valid passport, expired GC and original unexpired extension letter. Allow extra time to check in for the flights. Can make copies of GC and extension letters if airline wants to keep it. That's it.
  21. I looked at the I-485 form, current edition. I believe the question OP is trying to answer is: "Provide your most recent address outside the United States where you lived for more than one year (if not already listed above)." I still believe this would be address B. Because this is the last address where OP lived for over one year. Address A was the last address where OP lived but only for 4 months. Neither address A or B would be listed in question about addresses in the last 5 years since the lookback would be 2018.
  22. The question is straightforward. It doesn't ask you about the last address you used on previous forms. Only where you lived last.
