  1. I considered doing this, but I'm afraid it would cause a problem with my husband's case and make it more delayed. He's still DQ and hasn't gotten IL yet. When you filed a dispute in your bank, were you also just in DQ or were you/your spouse already interviewed?
  2. I have read this post late and I have unfortunately, paid twice for my husband's petition - as was advised by NVC Inquiry twice. I have spoken to NVC inquiry and pay.gov multiple times and both entities keep on pushing the blame/responsibility to each other. Overall, I paid $890 in CEAC fees. I felt like scammed honestly, but no use in regretting now. I assume I won't be getting any refund anymore at this point since it has already been almost 2 months, but what I'm curious is can I possibly request expedite for IV interview due to NVC's error? Due to NVC asking me to repay fees, my DQ date was pushed back for 2 weeks and recently they did a mass expedite for all CR1/IR1 cases in my husband's country (Jan-May 25 DQ). My husband is unfortunately DQed May 26. Had they not asked me to pay twice, he could have been included in the mass expedite of Interviews. Your thoughts/opinions on our situation is highly appreciated. Thank you.
  3. Just now someone from fb got auto expedited DQ mid may. and yes, I have checked and logged onto my husband's CEAC (I check every morning). I've actually been refreshing the page once in a while in hopes that I would get a new message too, but unfortunately, there's still none 🤧
  4. So I also asked on FB chat and someone said they auto expedited back in Jan 10 and Jan 25. That gives us a little bit of hope at least that there might be another batch soon. I'm just extremely worried that after this batch's auto expedite, it would take months again to see some movement.
  5. I reckon the same thing as well. The auto expedited ones I've been seeing have DQ date of Jan-March. and there's 1 for May. No one for June yet as far as I know. When they auto expedited back in January, does anybody know if they only sent out the messages on a single day? Or did they auto expedite on multiple days? I'm thinking that maybe they will send out messages by batches - maybe send out messages again later or tomorrow - but I also don't want to get my hopes up too high. 🤧
  6. Congratulations to those who got the auto expedite msg today! My husband's DQ is May 26th but unfortunately, we haven't received the message. I was wondering, to those who got the auto expedite today, did you apply for expedite previously or no? I've been seeing quite a few of those in fb groups applied for expedite but got denied multiple times, and today they were auto expedite. There was 1 who didn't do anything at all. I wanted to see if applying for expedite previously would have a bearing in their selection of who to auto expedite or if it's totally random.
  7. my husband just got DQed May 26th and I'm feeling a little hopeless with these updates. We're not getting any younger so we just want to start building our family while we still can, but LDR is causing us this misery. I would understand if they just "decreased" the ILs for CR/IR1. Like limiting it to a certain number but still surely give out some consistently. but completely stopping them since January with the exception of those expedited? absolutely insane. To think that CR/IR1 cases are always current and a priority, there shouldn't even be a need to have our cases expedited. and I also read somewhere that Consul General McGovern is on vacation so we can't even get any replies to emails. Clearly there's something wrong but ofc, the embassy in MNL won't admit that.
  8. Thank you for the response! 1. Cos I saw a lot of people say on online forums that they didn't wait for the IL and actually booked an interview on their own so for what cases are those? 3. I saw a notice somwehere on NVC to bring original copies of required documents.
  9. Hello folks, This has probably been asked a lot of times so if I am posting in a wrong place, please do let me know! My husband just got DQ'ed last May 26th and we are quite confused on a few things. I know IL will take some time especially since January DQs haven't even gotten theirs, but if someone can answer, that would be very appreciated! 1. For interview, I've seen people say embassy will provide the date, and some booked their own appointments. Which one is it? Also if it's the latter, how do you know if you are allowed to book one already? 2. To book the appointment, am I allowed to create an account on the US traveldocs even if my case is still at NVC (as per CEAC)? 3. Are tax return transcripts enough proof of requirements that my husband can bring to his interview? 4. Upon arriving in the US, will he automatically get SSN or do we have to apply for it? 5. does anybody know any Group chat we can possibly join to get updates for manila embassy interviews? Thank you so much! 🙏
  10. Hello, I just filed I-130 online for my spouse and in the section where they are asking for the address outside of USA, on the online section it says to put address IF different from the physical address. However upon reviewing the generated pdf, apparently it says to type in “SAME”. But that instruction was not shown on the online form so I just left it blank since my spouse’s physical and address outside the US is just the same. Will that cause a problem later on? another thing, there’s a part asking if I petitioned for any other alien. I also have an ongoing petition for my mom. It’s asking where I filed but I filed it online so I put the city and state of the service center on the receipt notice. And since there is still no result, I put down “ongoing”. Is that correct? thank you.
  11. Do we need to submit original marriage certificate for I-129F? Or will a photocopy do just fine?
  12. Hello, We just filed online I-130 for my husband and not 5 minutes after, we saw the attached image. Is this what we need to attach to our I-129F application? I saw that for non immigrant visa application for spouse, we need to attach the confirmation or NOA1 from filing I-130. Or am I gonna receive a separate confirmation letter (NOA1) via mail? How does this work? Thank you to who responds!
  13. Will do! Thank you so much! I was able to find my other e-boarding passes. It shouldn't pose any problem even if they are screenshots, right?
  14. Should I also include the bio page? I was just naturalized last year so my passport changed
  15. Thank you so much for your advice! I'm afraid I have already lost all boarding passes that I had before. But I still had my old passports, so I'll just do the stamps. Should I scan like the whole pages where the stamps are? Or is it alright if I just take a picture and crop just the entry/exit stamp from my PH trips?
  16. Sadly, I never got the mail version of this. I'm still asking for a missing notice request. However, can I just print the one from the myuscis site?
  17. Is I-797 the same as the receipt notice? Like this one?
  18. Hello, I am currently preparing all documents to file for I-129F. For the evidence that I have already filed I-130, can I just print the receipt notice that was provided on the online uscis account and attach it to the I-129F package? Or does it have to be the original receipt notice sent by uscis via mail? Also, is the receipt notice on the online account just the same as I-797? the paper from the online uscis account doesn't have a header so I'm not sure. Thank you to who responds!
  19. Hello, I am currently preparing to petition my husband (who resides abroad) through consular processing and in the process of compiling all of our bonafide marriage evidence. The evidences I have are the following: Photos from when we first met up to present (of us and with family/friends) Joint bank account statement from our home country (we just opened one recently) Life Insurances wherein we are beneficiaries of each other A copy of my husband being an authorized user for one of my credit cards Receipts of our gifts to each other over the years of our long distance relationship Inquiry email copies to events places for our wedding Plane E-Tickets/Passport stamps of my trips to our home country I am creating a word document (to be saved as a PDF) of the timeline of our relationship (where the photos of us and with our families/friends will be attached). Now, I am wondering if I should include the other evidences in that timeline document, or should I create a separate word document just for the gift receipts, email inquiries, passport stamps, life insurances? And how should I name each file? Also, how much photos is considered enough per year? It has been almost 11 years since we have met so I am worried that I might add too much photos. Lastly, do y'all think our evidences are enough? Any answer is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
