  1. Thank you both for your help. We do have our confirmation of shipment both online and physical. I was just worried about NOA coming before the 90 days were over. Do I need to do anything with that confirmation, or is it more just for my peace of mind. I assume the 30 days will also be whenever they take the payment through the G-1450 as well then.

I just with our K1 visa had it go through almost two days later, so I was a bit anxious that it hasn't came back yet.

  2. Thank you all for your help. To update, we went to the civil surgeon yesterday. He marked us as complete, and we got his COVID-19 updated formula booster. We sent away our full AOS packet yesterday with everything checked off. Sorry for being so confused about DS-3025 vs i-693. I am glad we got that medical squared away before we sent for hopefully no RFE!!

  3. Thank you all for help. I thought I was under the correct assumption of needing to complete the I-693 due to him not having the any doses of influenza and hep b at the time of original K1 medical examination. I will keep my appointment for tomorrow to get the I-693 filled out by a civil surgeon. I even made sure to call the place to ask if three vaccines would be considered to be fully vaccinated for the hep b vaccine, and they said yes. But it makes me feel even better that only one is required.

He did get his influenza vaccines and he has received his hepatitis B vaccines, but he needs one more dose (which on his records, says that his dose should be during December of this year).

I also will add that his hepatitis B vaccine would be his four dose, but I am also seeing various sources on how many doses are required. The four dose is after a year of the first dose, but it doesn't seem logical with the application time restraints.

Yes, that's what a civil surgeon would do if they know what they're doing. Missing vaccines = incomplete medical.

One can argue tomorrow's visit is pointless if civil surgeon cannot inject all missing vaccines on the spot.

I was under the assumption that it would be marked as insufficient time interval due to him having all the vaccines, but the dose is needed in December. There would be no way for us to receive these vaccines previous to us submitting our AOS. I thought that due to time restraint it would be marked as complete due to insufficient time interval is a waiver for completion. Is it not?

  6. Okay, so long story short, during the K1 visa medical examination, my husband did not have all of his vaccines (influenza and hepatitis B). The doctor encouraged him to get his vaccines done somewhere else due to it being cheaper, so my husband agreed with him. His DS-3025 was marked as "K visa applicant electing not to be vaccinated at this examination." The document is completed, but the box is not marked as vaccinations were completed, so based off of everything that I have read, I assume that I am needing to submit an I-693.

He did get his influenza vaccines and he has received his hepatitis B vaccines, but he needs one more dose (which on his records, says that his dose should be during December of this year). I was freaking out about the whole thing, and I do not want to apply and get a RFE. I have an appointment for tomorrow with a civil surgeon, but I am unsure if they are even going to mark it as incomplete again since he does not have all of the doses required.

Should I send it off just as it is with no I-693 and hope that I do not need it or try tomorrow at the civil surgeon to have them hopefully mark him as complete? What do you think?

  7. At the medical appointment, he was told he needed to still get the influenza and hepatitis B vaccine. The civil surgeon told him that he should get it done somewhere else due to price.

At the bottom, it says that they attest that the form is completed, but on the next page, it is checked that “K visa applicant electing not to be vaccinated at this examination.” So I assumed by other posts, he needs to go back to further show proof he got his required vaccines.

  8. Hey,

I am filling out the i-134 currently, and I wanted to ask everyone's thoughts.

I just got a new job in August, so I do not have the tax return for this job showing that I made over the threshold. Do you think that a letter from my employer about my salary, pay stubs, and bank statements would suffice the income documentation? I currently make a little bit over 40k, but I am nervous. Or should I ask my parents to co-sponsor with me just to be on the safe side?

  9. Hello! I currently am in a little bit of a pickle. I just got a notice that my apartment was needing to relocate me because of serious maintenance issues within my apartment. I sent away my I-129f away in August, and I do have my NOA1. I was wondering how the process of changing my address works. If it matters, I am the petitioner.

I saw this website (https://egov.uscis.gov/coa/addressChange.do), but I have questions.

I saw people saying that they had to call, but on that website it just seems like I do it electronically. Which one is the case? Is there anything that I should know in advance to changing my address-- will this delay my case?

Overall, I am just looking for reassurance and a clear guide. Thanks!

  10. My partner and I just sent away our i-129f and got our NOA1 in August. I have been seeing people concerned about the backlog from COVID and expecting delays for up to two years. Should I be worried; should I be discouraged? I was not sure if this is only for specific countries or embassies, but if you possibly know he is from the UK. Let me know anything that you know!

  11. Hey! I just have some random, but quick questions.

    1. In the i-129f form in proof of relationship or meeting, should I include my proof physically or should I just include the photo copies of them (ex. ticket stubs).

    2. And when I include the photos of proof should I caption them, or is it self-explanatory? I have seen people caption with sticky notes, is that acceptable? Or should I just have a typed out caption to the side of the photo copy

    3. I see that people include their fiance's copy of passport, is that a photo copy?

    4. Should I be worried that I don't make enough money yearly? What is the minimum for application of the K-1 visa? Can I have a second person (ex. my parents?) be on the addendum too? I know that the green card had a poverty minimum, but what about the K-1 visa?

    5. Is there any random advice that you would give to someone about to send in their i-129f application?

  12. Okay, so my fiance and I are super early on in our K-1 visa journey. And I am looking further down the line, and I am getting worried about our green card application. Currently, I make around 16k to 21k grossly a year, and that the minimum is 22k for the two person household. It varies a lot because I am in school, and I am taking a lot of time off of work to go travel to him overseas.

Long story short, by the end of this year, I am going to probably make grossly 14k because I graduate in December and won't be working much. Yet, I think next year I will work much more, and I will have a job as a teacher which in my area starts around to having 30k. I just don't know... should I even apply yet for the K-1 visa now? I know that I could have an additional person be on the form, is that frowned upon? I could have my mom and I know she would do that for me. I just don't have any assets to contribute, and I believe I am correct that my partner can't contribute any funding or assets, right?

Sorry for the blurbs, I am kinda new to this and everything feels overwhelming past the K-1 visa application acceptance.
