Assuming here Wife #1 “ withdrew “ I-130 by writing a letter to USCIS…did you ever see/read what she told the..?
Some Ex-es are angry /hurt/vengeful and claim :Fraud Man Only Married me for Green Card..

She just sent the letter saying that she wanted to withdraw the I130, didn't mention any reason. Then I received the letter of denial for I485.

You would have been told if you were in removal. You were out of status.

    Have you done a FOIA?

Do you have a Lawyer, you can expect to be grilled, this looks very suspicious. You could of course sail through the process but that would be unusual.

What would your ex say if they bang on her door?

Sorry, I did not get it. What do you mean when saying this looks very suspicious?

  3. Hello fam, asking for a friend, if anyone in this situation already, please advise.

She had citizenship, the kids had green cards, and she applied N600 for them a week ago. They are 10 and 14 years old.

They now want to travel outside the US, so they need to apply for the passports.

The question is if she applies passport for the kids, their greencards will be taken at USPS. And if the kids must go for N600 biometric, they will not have greencards for the biometric.

Is there any optional document the kids can use for biometric instead of greencards?

Thanks so much for your advice.

Hi all, I had my oath ceremony on Friday but because there were so many new citizens we weren’t asked to sign the certificate in front of an IO nor were given too many details on how to sign it.  I’m finding conflicting information online. My certificate has a tiny signature next to my picture which is the one I’ve used for all my immigration related paperwork and IDs.  I thought of using that one,  although it’s only my first name and middle initial.

What has been your experience ? What signature did you use?

I used the same as tiny one on my cert to avoid any issue can cause later.

Just checked and saw that I got my interview date! April 10th!!!! That’s came as a shock as I looked yesterday and no change, just checked a few minutes ago and saw “interview was scheduled”. So happy to finally have a date! Now I have to get back to studying! 😄

Congrats!!! I kept checking every day. Wish I would get mine soon.

Update on My Case. I just Passed The Interview. A simple Clean Process. Takes about 15 Minute I spent in total of 25 mins in the Building. My i751 was recently approved so she didn't even ask for no document aside of Passport and Green card. This is the easiest stage of The entire Immigration Process so Don't worry about Anything.

UPDATE: Oath Ceremony  on the 22nd of this month.

Congrats!!! So you had 2 interviews for N400?

You’re in the same situation as me by the sounds of it. I already did my ROC some time ago too.

for the N400 all I’ve done so far is my biometrics, but haven’t heard anything since! My status online is just saying they are working on it and hasn’t moved since October.

I thought that only me day by day reading the updates on interview schedule for N-400, even October filers; and month by month logging in my account to see the month of waiting is decreased by 1. Lol

It is optional but under the 3-year rule I would encourage the spouse to go to the interview, it is not required but there is a small chance the interviewing officer may want the opportunity to talk to them. It is unlikely they will be admitted to the interview and maybe not admitted to the field office at all due to COVID restrictions but having the spouse there is a plus for your case when the IO calls you into your appointment and sees you both together in the waiting room.

I know some immigration lawyers encourage spouses to go to n400 cases under the 3-year rule.

I did see most applicants in the USCIS waiting room at our n400 interview in May were accompanied by a spouse or family so there is a good chance your spouse will be admitted through security, especially under the 3-year rule n400 case.

Thanks so much for your information. I thought only the mentioned people in interview letter could get inside.

  9. Are both passport and the cert. of Naturalization required, or just one of them?

I did not get the interviewing date yet, but my spouse had a business traveling plan which needed the passport next couple months.

If the traveling will also be on the interview date, can I just bring the cert. of Naturalization of my spouse, or I must bring both?

I had 10-yr greencard already, and applied under 3-yr rule. So I assumed only me will go to the interview.

Thanks so much for your advice.

    Finally some good news!

No email or text from USCIS but checked the case status just a few minutes ago and it says:

On December 9, 2022, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, Receipt Number IOE1234567890. We will mail you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I then logged into the USCIS website and it's for Jan 20.

So excited for this!! Those who haven't heard back yet, I hope you hear soon!! I applied in April 2022 so took exactly 8 months minus a week.

Congrats. I was really impressed with your post about time changed to under 1 month. Lol

Wish I would get my interview notice soon.

    Had my interview today.

It was one of the first ones of the day, so we didn't end up waiting too long. The IO was really nice and personable. He conducted the I-751 interview first with my spouse. Asked us a few questions about how we met etc. Then asked me a few questions about her family. He approved it and we gave a few updated bank statements etc. as updated support. He then moved on to the N-400 interview, my spouse was able to stay in the office. He asked me 6 civic questions (got them all right) and then I had to write out one sentence. He asked a few questions from the Yes/No list and then had me confirm the spelling of my name etc. He said I've been approved, but he has to approve the I-751 in the system first before he can approve the N-400 so I will see the status change online and will be mailed a letter for my oath ceremony.

Can't believe this journey is (almost) over.

    Congrats.

Just wish I had the scheduled interview notice right now. Lol

  12. Hello everyone,

I asked this for my friend. He married to USC 4 years ago, applied for AOS more than 3 years ago. The case was still pending.

His wife was cheating on him and had pregnancy with her ex-boyfriend while he was out of state for work.

Now they are preparing for divorce, and she applied to withdraw his cases already. He did not get any physical abuse at all.

Will he meet the requirement for filing WAVA in his situation? He asked some attorneys already. Some said could, some said could not file for WAVA.

    That made him confused.

Any suggestion will be really appreciated.
