This forum is also used to post inaccurate information....which your first post was.

I can see bunch of old users forming a group and come to each others rescue and bash new members. I was very clear in my post that it was at the NVC stage. When you fill paperwork at NVC, you can request your paper work to be sent to different location if you have legal status in other country. It was not inaccurate information. lol its so funny how these people jump for other. Tu Salta I Salta

Nonsense.  Your research is faulty.  I do know of a member here who had his interview in Mumbai to avoid the long backlog in Montreal, but they were able to do that because of their Indian Citizenship.  Visa interviews are held only in country of citizenship or legal residence.  You must "prove" one or the other, not just "why".  In fact, a reason need not be stated, in such a case.

This is neither a "trick" or "news".

In one of my post I did mention the person needs to have legal status in that country. There are many ways a legal status can be achieved for example study and work. South American, EU, some Central Asian countries do offer an easy process to issue work permits within those regions. This forum can be used for bashing and aristocratic reasons sometimes which is so sad. Working holiday visa and programs are also available for many people. It is only nonsense when you dont know, once you know it makes sense.

Chileans can live and work legally in Peru under the Mercosur (and Associated Members) immigration agreement with no requirement other than being a citizen at birth or a naturalized citizen for over 5 years

I'm sorry in advance if I am starting a new thread but I have read the previous threads and got even more confused 😞 regarding the translation of our urdu NIkkah Nama. We're currently compiling documents to submit to NVC. We have our ORIGINAL URDU Nikkah Nama and ORIGINAL ENGLISH Nikkah Nama and NADRA Marriage Certificate too. From what I have read so far,  these three in one PDF are still not acceptable by NVC. They ask for a CERTIFIED ENGLISH TRANSLATION of original URDU Nikkah Nama.

My Question is: can you please guide me from where can we get a certified translation of our urdu nikkah nama done in ISLAMABAD/RAWALPINDI? Also should it be attested from foreign affairs or could be done from any public notary in ISB/RWP? Do we require a cover letter from the translator as well, if yes what should be the contents of that letter? If anyone has a sample of a certified english translation of nikkah nama and/or cover letter from the translator, it would be super helpful if you can share those images here but please crossout your private credentials/details on it if you share.

We really want to get DQ'd in the first try so wanna make sure all documents are submitted as required. We have waited long enough in the immigration journey already :(

Any guidance would be super appreciated from Pakistani VJ members but others can comment too if they are more aware about this situation.

    Here what you need:

    Urdu Nikah Naama

English Translation with foreign office stamp

    Nadra Marriage Registration certificate

You can check out this forum to see what the situation is coming out of Pakistan:

You can watch this thread to see who gets interviews first and who goes into AP after interview

But, Pakistan has a backlog so you'll be waiting for at least two years unless they speed up.

Person DQed December 2020 still waiting on interview as of 02/25/2022.

    thanks appreciate it
