  1. If you are able to get married in your country, then get married and file for a CR1 and surely by the time you enter the US you immediately get your SS and Green Card.
  2. It looks like standard operating procedure for USCIS in this type of event. In the end you know that they received your request and just want until they actually contact you with meaningful and actionable information.
  3. Best Reply. Especially about being sure you are not being manipulated.
  4. I honestly believe that you overthinking this whole thing. If the two of you got married and love each other and you have provided all the documentation that they have requested, then any question that they may ask is really not to be rehearsed and answered from the heart. I have to believe that the reason why your spouse wants to be in the US is to be with her spouse and all else is secondary. Obviously your spouse wants to work, stay home, study or whatever the answer should be what it is and not rehearsed. My spouse went to the interview and we did not study or rehearse anything, they asked a whole of 3 questions and said congratulations your visa is approved and that was that, all in all less than 5 minutes at the window with the Embassy official.
  5. I believe you said you are already married in Canada, the only option you have is the CR1 and the process will take give or take 18 months.
  6. If they are both single and all their previous divorces are correctly process, then they should be able to apply for a fiancee visa for whom ever is the foreign resident which i guess is your father. As stated before here by someone else this is the place to get many answers so the process goes well.
  7. Well, my husband just received his 10 year green card yesterday, entry date October 9th 2023!! Yay!!
  8. So, my spouse will be coming to the US in October and in anticipation I paid the $220.00 immigrant fee and have the receipt. I understand that nothing starts moving on the issuance of the green card after the person enters the USA, however, once that happens is there a place you can track the progress of the Green Card issuance? Thanks
  9. Any member from Indonesia that have recently had their medical in Premier Bintaro for their spousal visa? What is the cost these days? Thanks
