I know some people who transferred their cases to SL. it took a week to transfer and then about 2 weeks for an interview. But that was last year.. I don't know what the time now for 2024.
Good Afternoon. I have a question that someone can help me with, has anyone here come through customs at this airport? My fiancee will be arriving at that airport for her connecting flight.
Once she clears customs.. and retrieves her luggage.. how far will she have to go to re-check in her luggage( not carry-on) for her connection flight..Thank you
Your statment.. is true.. but from what I actually heard myself.. the paperwork for AOS,EAD, are being process very fast, maybe not as fast as OP might need it.. but better than before, because of fee's increase on April 1st.
Technically speeding violations are not criminal (it all depends on circumstances.. like being chased by the police and etc... ) but whatever is in the person's background will show up.. no matter how old it is.
The person you said is USC..I would tell her, she could call her county clerk's office and ask for a certificate of deposition..
Good Afternoon VJ.. it's been a while since I've been on the website. I want to update you on some things. I'm still waiting for my fiancee to arrive in the States.
She will arrive next month. she wrapped up things with her stores, which took some time to do. but all in all.. everything is well
You can do it yourself. Just find the counties where your arrest was at. Call the county clerk's office and ask them for a certificate of deposition. Simply it would cost you more $10 buck per certificate
( AOS question ) I'm sure those who do know that, there will be an increase in fees. I spoke with someone today and they indicated that each document will have its own price come April 1st 2024 Has anyone heard of this because I called USCIS today twice, and they said that there will be just increases. my point is that. ( just being transparent) (I only would have to pay for my fiancee and daughter's AOS and Bio for the mom.. not the child bio.. and pay for the child's AOS ) Now USCIS also said that I won't have to pay for any EAD or Advance travel because I'm doing all 3 together

Good Morning.. just following up on this post. Most of the VJ ( veterans know their stuff ) But just based on the small amount of knowledge I know ( and that is small )
The revoke had to do with some kind of documents.. something did not add up with what was present with the documents and most or less what was asked of him.
It could have been a simple question.. and it drew a red flag, or why else it would have to go back to the uscis? if it was a quick fix, it would have stayed at the embassy.
This is very important and could have been the reason for sure.. ( just a guess based on my fiancee's interview in Ghana.. they made sure she had original documents.. her interview was less then 10 minutes)
