Crazy Kat.. Here is Virginia it's not that much of a worry for a (K1) I regularly talk to a person at the bank I'm with. she tells me. ( that an immigrant arriving here would need their visa, passport, and ID ) I'm not sure about other states.

My problem is that my fiancee is arriving with her 9-year-old daughter.. typically the flight from Ghana would arrive at JFK.. and there will be a 4-hour layover. The flight would arrive at 6:am and depart around 10:0am.. my problem is that there are no arriving flights coming on the morning of the date that we choose all other flights have her in the airport for over 6,7, and like in some cases 10 hours.. and then she would arrive in VA .. like 9:00 pm. I don't want them in the airport for such a long period like that with a child. I can get then to DC. but there is only a 2-hour layover and that won't be enough time to catch her connecting flight.

I'm trying to book a flight for my fiancee and her daughter, the connecting flight will be out of (IAD). Her flight will arrive at 6:30 am. She will have a 1 hr 55 min layover. Has anyone experienced long waits to go through customs and TSA? Her flight leaves at 8:30 am.. do you think she will have enough time to catch that flight.. ( Thanks in Advance )

I don't want to get too far ahead of myself but this is a big step for me. I want to thank you all guys for all your help. She won't have to pay as much as one might think or nothing at all under her circumstances. All she would have to do is ask the hospital for their debt relief program or any other kind of programs they have and they will help. She will not be the first or the last who has asked about these kinds of programs.. all she has to do is ask. simple

I have a question, and that is does Akai House give a copy of what kinds of vaccinations they have given to the patient for their visa before they send the original copy to the embassy?

(Update on my case ) My fiancee had her interview this past Friday. The embassy gave her a 221g. All they ask is for her to send her birth certificate back to the embassy. She misplace it and also they are waiting for her medical results to arrive at the embassy. she said her interview was less than 10 minutes and all went well.

Good Day.. I finally have an interview date on Nov 24th at the Embassy in Ghana. The embassy scheduled the date themselves. still a long journey to go tho.

Good Day to All... I just wanted to give a small update on my case. My case has been sitting at the US Embassy in Accura Ghana since Aug 1st. I'm just waiting for the calendar to open so I can schedule a date for the interview. Has been tough just sitting and waiting ( Yes ! ) The journey continues.

well, actually it did work. The embassy contacted me for the K2 Approval. they already know the K1 is attached to it ( the mother) Secondly what happened was I was waiting on the mothers renewal passport. basically, i did it the other way around ( my mistake ) but it worked ok. i just attached the mother to the child. ( Remember.. they already have your paperwork at the embassy) right now I'm just waiting on an open date on the calendar
