  2. I dont know much on this issue.. but what I was thinking about is that, did you add your husband when you were filing your taxes? again I'm not an expert.. but that is the best I can think of for now

On the EAD approval letter, it says( if there is some correction that needs to be made, please send the card back with documentation of the problem) I'm saying this now because I just got an email from USCIS.   4. Yeah.. mine took only 2 weeks... it was fast... I think in some cases if USCIS,sees some kind fraud.. then RFEs.. can take longer
  5. Any Updates.. I'm still waiting for USCIS.. to reissue my wife EAD card with the correct spelling of her name
  6. I'm still waiting on USCIS to correct the spelling of my wife name on her EAD card
  7. Go to your county clerk's office and get a certificate of deposition, the cost is around 20 dollars, which will explain your case to USCIS, and more importantly, always tell the truth to USCIS.

  10. The name on the approval letter is spelled wrong... I'm hoping things can get fixed quickly... but then again.. you dealing with USCIS
  11. I contacted USCIS about 30 minutes ago, and there were no updates
  12. well what happened when we caught the error, we called USCIS, and informed them of the problem, and they asked for it to be returned in which we did. it's been a few weeks now and we have not heard anything from them, even when trying to contact some from USCIS ( you already they don't have much information). I was wondering has anyone experienced this issue as well.
  13. Good morning, Has anyone had any experience with their EAD card the last name on the card is spelled wrong. I sent back the card with a letter and other information informing them of the problem, and I'm still waiting for the replacement. if anyone has had this problem, how long did it take to get your replacement card? Thank you
  14. when I filed for my wife's K1 visa back in 2021... I sent 3 years of tax transcripts to USCIS... I also sent her 3 years of tax transcripts, copies of course, when she attended her interview. I'm not even sure if they asked for it.

  16. I just got off the phone with my wife. I had asked her what it says on the SS card. She said to me that it says ( not authorized to work ). Now with saying that. she has gotten her EAD card. but unfortunately, they misspelled her name so we had to send it back to get it correct. so if I'm correct in saying when she gets her new EAD card, she should reapply for a new SS card ? and the child?
  17. Good Morning. I was reading your comment, and I'm somewhat in the same boat. My wife and her daughter have gotten their SS # when they arrived. if I'm correct in saying this, when they are approved for their GC.. or EAD.. they should reapply for a new SS card ?
  18. I would get my US congressman/woman involved, or even US senator office.. fast before the holidays roll around soon
  19. go to your county clerk's office, get an original copy, and mail it to USCIS...or wait for an RFE. but I myself would be pro-active
  20. Does it say it on your USCIS account saying that it's closed
  21. yes....... more or less I would say 2 weeks.. she had her doctors do the work!... he got here before the baby was born ( her blood pressure was high and she was in the hospital) and made it happen
