  1. it's been since Aug 30 when they uploaded in thier system
  2. The name on the approval letter is spelled wrong... I'm hoping things can get fixed quickly... but then again.. you dealing with USCIS
  3. I contacted USCIS about 30 minutes ago, and there were no updates
  4. well what happened when we caught the error, we called USCIS, and informed them of the problem, and they asked for it to be returned in which we did. it's been a few weeks now and we have not heard anything from them, even when trying to contact some from USCIS ( you already they don't have much information). I was wondering has anyone experienced this issue as well.
  5. Good morning, Has anyone had any experience with their EAD card the last name on the card is spelled wrong. I sent back the card with a letter and other information informing them of the problem, and I'm still waiting for the replacement. if anyone has had this problem, how long did it take to get your replacement card? Thank you
  6. when I filed for my wife's K1 visa back in 2021... I sent 3 years of tax transcripts to USCIS... I also sent her 3 years of tax transcripts, copies of course, when she attended her interview. I'm not even sure if they asked for it.
  7. None here... it's a waiting game
  8. I just got off the phone with my wife. I had asked her what it says on the SS card. She said to me that it says ( not authorized to work ). Now with saying that. she has gotten her EAD card. but unfortunately, they misspelled her name so we had to send it back to get it correct. so if I'm correct in saying when she gets her new EAD card, she should reapply for a new SS card ? and the child?
  9. Good Morning. I was reading your comment, and I'm somewhat in the same boat. My wife and her daughter have gotten their SS # when they arrived. if I'm correct in saying this, when they are approved for their GC.. or EAD.. they should reapply for a new SS card ?
  10. I would get my US congressman/woman involved, or even US senator office.. fast before the holidays roll around soon
  11. go to your county clerk's office, get an original copy, and mail it to USCIS...or wait for an RFE. but I myself would be pro-active
  12. Does it say it on your USCIS account saying that it's closed
  13. yes....... more or less I would say 2 weeks.. she had her doctors do the work!... he got here before the baby was born ( her blood pressure was high and she was in the hospital) and made it happen
  14. Norfolk VA Date Filed : 2024-06-18 NOA Date : 2024-07-25 RFE(s) : Bio. Appt. : 2024-08-08 sometimes that is not the case at all..
  15. I have a friend who lives in Boston( this year it happened), and she was pregnant and had her case expedited fast. first, she was expecting the baby at any given moment. secondly, she had her doctor send all information in regards to her condition to USCIS, and the doctor had the hospital administers as well sign-on they sent that information and her husband was here within 10 days... I don't know why OP needs the case expedited, but if it's for medical reasons. it can be done.. but!! he/she needs all doctors to sign on.
  16. I want to think that everything being said is very speculative. I hope the person has enough evidence to prove their case if they have one.
  17. Good Morning. I have been reading this post and I'm sure things like this happen all the time and sometimes it just goes unnoticed. All I would say is this: if this is legitimate, I will have police reports and hospital records, court filings, etc.. cause it's going to take a lot of documentation to prove the case at hand.. all we can do is hope they are safe. I'm not an expert, but being in an abusive relationship does not have a timetable.. it happens when it happens.
  18. you could always try.. reach out to them..
  19. my wife.. just got approved for her EAD, this past Saturday. So hopefully that will solve the problem
  20. I checked the DMV.. they do accept the i-485 receipt notice.. the only good thing going my way is that she just got approval for her EAD on Saturday, Aug 10th. and had her Bio on the 8th of Aug. Im looking at the i-94 and it does not have an expiration date on it. we did file i-485
