Good Afternoon. I have a question that maybe someone can help/advise me with. My fiancee's visa has been approved and she was supposed to be here this weekend.
But unfortunately, she had to reschedule her trip. The reason why she had to reschedule her trip is that her mother has been in and out of the hospital lately and she is very concerned about her mother when she leaves.
So my question is how long does it typically take to expedite your advance parole application? ( btw my fiancee will be here next week )
Thank you

Thanks for the quick reply. I’ve been checking every day for a week now and I keep seeing no appointments available. But I will continue to look.

Has anyone recently been able to schedule an appointment with Sierra Leone embassy for k1? If so how long did it take to get an appointment?
and for those that have gotten a interview and approved how long did it take to get your interview?
I know some people who transferred their cases to SL. it took a week to transfer and then about 2 weeks for an interview. But that was last year.. I don't know what the time now for 2024.

ok i thought the charge of 265$ per kid was part of the I-129F application apparently that is only for the DS-160 correct?
yes

Anyone know why USCIS would only charge 535$ to the credit card if the total fee i permitted was 1330$ which was for 3 k2 visas as well? Does this mean there is an issue with my application concerning the kids? Any help or advice on this would be helpful.
There is no charge for k2 ( kids )

There are recheck counters right before you exit customs. If for some reason they aren't available you would exit immigration with all bags and proceed upstairs to ticket counters. At most a 5 minutes walk
Thank you so much.. because she will be having 7 suitecases...

Good Afternoon. I have a question that someone can help me with, has anyone here come through customs at this airport? My fiancee will be arriving at that airport for her connecting flight.
Once she clears customs.. and retrieves her luggage.. how far will she have to go to re-check in her luggage( not carry-on) for her connection flight..Thank you

Yikes, maybe the K1 wasn’t the best option in her situation.. She can’t leave the US during the adjustment of status process until she has authorization (approved I-131 or I-485). If she leaves without it, you’ll have to start from scratch with a spousal visa.
Your statment.. is true.. but from what I actually heard myself.. the paperwork for AOS,EAD, are being process very fast, maybe not as fast as OP might need it.. but better than before, because of fee's increase on April 1st.

yes, the question says arrested and/or convicted
yours is a traffic violation / not an arrest
Exactly.. ( you know the saying.. sometimes people get them both confused..)

The American citizen is my friend here, who plans to apply for the fiancé. It happened here in the US. You think this is not "a traffic violation"? I understand it is criminal but speeding is criminal too and I think it says in the inistructions that anything traffic for less than $500 fine is excluded. What do you think?
Technically speeding violations are not criminal (it all depends on circumstances.. like being chased by the police and etc... ) but whatever is in the person's background will show up.. no matter how old it is.
The person you said is USC..I would tell her, she could call her county clerk's office and ask for a certificate of deposition..

I saw someone on Facebook recently who said it took about 6 months for K1 interview. I don’t know if representative that is of the average wait.
Each case is different..I did hear tho that the embassy is moving better than it has done before.

Thank you in advance. The courier service is a bit confusing. In Jamaica they use DHL I believe but once it’s issued from the embassy what are the next steps? We choose to have it delivered but nothing on the website tells you where or if they come to the person or go to a pick up location. For persons living in Westmoreland it would be easier to do delivery instead of traveling to Kingston. Any current information?
cant you call DHL there in your town

NO ONE handling the DEMOLITION of your Binder and dismantling of sheet protectors will read the contents . ..so your effort was futile .
‘It’s true that USCIS is forgiving ( unlike courts that would bounce back submissions that don’t conform) …but that attorney was pulling your leg😂I guess you work at USCIS.. and have years of experience working there..
