  1. ceac.state.gov uses encryption to protect your information. When Microsoft Edge tried to connect to ceac.state.gov this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be ceac.state.gov, or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information is still secure because Microsoft Edge stopped the connection before any data was exchanged.

You can't visit ceac.state.gov right now because the website uses HSTS. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later. ( this is what i get )

  2. My fiancee's passport expired in April ( she has been waiting since for her new one ) I'm almost done with the DS160.but my case is in transit and it can be ready at a moment's notice. I should I use the old passport information on the DS160, and when it's time for her interview she could just bring both the old passport and also the new one. she inform me this morning that she could have the new one in 2 weeks.. please advise

Ah! You still won't have an issue. When some people are petitioned for I-129F they don't have passports yet. The only time the passport is needed is when applying for the visa (DS160). Look at the DS160 form. At no time does it request "please input information of PRIOR passports".

I'm in a similar situation. Oh wow! my bf got his court documents, he had to pay 90$ and they gave him around 20 pages for both cases, at the end of each case they put the court stamp, date and the clerck signature...I hope thats enough if USCIS request them

All it cost is 5 bucks.. some cases 10 bucks.. he should have just gone to the clerk and asked for a certificate of deposition.. simple.. that's what I did. In fact, I did mines from out of state.

On that certificate, it would have given him detailed information about his case with the Clerks stamp on it... simple

Oh wow that was fast! We suppose our RFE is related to my bf court criminal records (a DUI and a dismissed case)...we didnt know we had to send them with the initial petition...we just sent a DOJ background check bcs we thougth that was enough

i Did the same thing!!! But! you need to get a certificate of deposition. get that!  mines only cost $5.00

Hi everyone, I'm a June 2022 filer waiting for NOA2 (387 days for now)

I'm getting worried bcs many cases around mine have been approved or RFE meanwhile my case stills untouched...

I'm worried if this means they have lost my file or they have picked up my case to be left behind

Idk what to think about it😓

Have any of you been in the same situation? Did you get approved? Ty

Calm Down... I waited over 400 days.. you will get approved

I feel you. We are the same time filers. I know how hard it is to wait to be together with your loved one.. 100 percent.

What helps me to stay positive is to focus on the goal ahead. Not so much on right now.

And being grateful. Gratitude for my loved one helps me to stay grounded. Regardless of what everyone else is doing....I am thankful to have my loved one and I know we'll be together.

At the time of filing it was a 13 month minimum wait. We have not yet even reached the 13 month threshold. Sometimes it's earlier, sometimes it's later.

Also I try to remember, fear is belief that something is going to happen. And, faith is belief that something is going to happen.

I have to CHOOSE have faith and believe that something good is going to happen!

Last but not least, NEVER give up! Those who quit never get the prize of finishing the race! Your future self will thank you 😊

Trust and believe your time will come.. we all had to bare this burden.. including me.. trust me.. it will happen for you

I honestly think one a week is just fine for public inquiry form once you're past 30-40 days, especially seeing things are getting faster now. They do take almost a week to reply anyway.
I am not trying to abuse the NVCResearch so I am keeping that one at every 2 weeks.

Rest assure it is.. I was doing twice a week.. each time i got an update.. and then at 80 day mark my number..( Some people waited over 100 days..) out of sight out of mind.. Trust me it does not hurt.. ( you have to remember.. you are paying for an service ) Companies only do what their customers allow them to do.. that includes the US GOV.

    • The DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application form, is for temporary travel to the United States, and for K (fiancé(e)) visas. Form DS-160 is submitted electronically to the Department of State website via the Internet. Consular Officers use the information entered on the DS-160 to process the visa application and, combined with a personal interview, determine an applicant’s eligibility for a nonimmigrant visa.
    • Print and keep the DS-160 barcode page. (You will not need to print the full application.)
    • You must schedule a visa interview appointment. (The U.S. Embassy or Consulate does not schedule an appointment for you.) Visit the U.S. Embassy or Consulate website where you will be interviewed for country-specific instructions.;
    • Pay the visa application processing fee. Review country-specific instructions on the U.S. Embassy or Consulate website.

Some embassies make u pay at embassy in USD or country's money

but check your embassy for info

Thank you..  research that as well and i told my fiancée to pay it at GTBank..
