My DQ date is August 2022 so I'm hoping Basits interview will happen at Christmas or before Easter next year. I know I'm having high hopes for that but is it realistic to expect it to happen in 9 months instead of 12? Lol but I got too excited when I saw they were scheduling for September 2 2021 already. A month ago they were working on may 2021 so if they keep this pace maybe I can have hope that it'll take 9 more months

Whoa do we really need all these documents? I thought you didn't need to bring financial stuff only the documents they ask for in the other section of the NVC

Yes you have to pay the fee (485$) It sucks but that's how they make their money ughhhh

I wrote a letter to them about my situation and they called me shortly after.

I think it's cause I have Congress helping me. He called them before I realized my tax return had missing pages and they didn't notice my tax return had missing pages and sent it to document review cause they believed they made a mistake and denied me by mistake. I realized when I got home that night that I did make a mistake and switched the documents... So when they reviewed my case they probably thought they denied me for no reason and didn't realize I switched the documents... That's my best guess. Either way, it was a miracle lol

I first submitted on March 24th, had missing documents so resubmitted on June 6th than August 12th they said there was a problem with my tax return. They document qualified me today after I resubmitted the tax return August 13th. They probably did it so quickly cause I had Congress call them and they sent my case to document review.

Just wish I realized that these two times resubmitting documents 🤣🤣 now I must wait another 2 months for the third time 🤦‍♀️ but it's okay cause I'm already planning another visit to see my husband (my fourth visit) I been visiting him every 9 months throughout this whole process cause I refuse to let this process keep us separated 💓

Just wanted to inform everyone NVC don't care if you submit duplicate documents! I had my nikkahnamas accepted, even though 2 of em were sideways and 2 of em upright

I'm not very technilogical and I know I should be cause I'm a millennial lol I literally just found that out today that I can download it on my phone ughhhhh. My scans had missing pages is why they kept getting denied (I just discovered this too) I also know now why I keep getting pushed to the back of the line.. I should be hitting replace documents instead of deleting them and re-uploading them and of course I discovered this too late. I swear, Basits and I's case walked so my mother in law's could run 😒🤣🤣 I want to delete this whole post cause I'm so embarrassed lol 😅

I uploaded my past 3 tax transcripts and NVC accept the first two but keep denying my latest one. I don't understand how or why. They claim it's missing or incomplete but I got this transcript from the IRS website and scanned it and uploaded it 3 times and they still deny it. SOMEONE HELP PLEASE IM SO READY TO BE FREE FROM NVC'S CLUTCHES 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Mine was at national benefits center! I had a congressman call them repeatedly asking the status of our case. We knew they were working on it cause they transferred it to Potomac then back to national benefits center! I am praying you are as lucky as I was!

They want all documents scanned so maybe it was rejected cause it was a picture? One month waiting time isn't bad compared to how long I have already been waiting LOL

Omg so I feel really dumb lol my brother in law must've flipped my nikkanamas upright because I uploaded new ones upright and went to look at the ones he said were sideways... They were upright!!! So now I have duplicate documents. Is this a problem or is it fine?? I was thinking it was fine as long as long as they have what they asked for... But is there any way to delete duplicates?? I'm not very tech savvy lol 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Hi guys ive had a very rough journey so far in immigrating my spouse to the US lol so I found out my brother in law uploaded my Nikkanamas (part of my marriage certificate) sideways to the NVC. It's my fault for sending him the PDF file that way but had no choice while scanning documents to him because my nikkanamas were too big (too long) he claims it's not a big deal but when I google it websites say it is a big deal. So has anyone had documents rejected before for being sideways?? Also I was so disappointed to find out I wasn't document qualified on the first try with NVC. It took 2 months and a week for them to look at my documents and they couldn't read one of my tax returns (which is really weird and odd) so I resubmitted it and found out they also wanted my nikkanamas as well as my registered marriage certificate (also odd in my opinion lol) but my brother in law already submitted all that for me before I found out about it being sideways a possible problem. So I'm wondering also how long does it take NVC to review additional documents they ask for when they already opened your case?

I did not get DQ'ed in the first try lmfao seems to be my luck lately 🙄 any idea how long it takes to get documents reviewed after resubmitting?

Hopefully it means they're getting faster! All we can do is pray and manifest it 🙏🌌

On USCIS website it says what mailing address to send your I824 to based on your original processing center. Just Google it and click on the USCIS website answer that pops up
