So I just finished the process of updating the SSA. Thanks to @seetsuh for documenting it so well. I used the exact same letter template and process as outlined earlier in the thread.
    Here's my full timeline:

09/27/21: Mailed letter, passport card & SS-5 form to Columbus Ohio SSA office
10/01/21: Received Passport card back (by UPS)
10/08/21: Online status changed to "Updating information" *
10/14/21: Received letter (from Columbus SSA) saying new SSN card has been ordered and should receive within 2 weeks
10/15/21: Online status changed to show that I'm a US citizen *
10/15/21: Received new SSN card (from Baltimore SSA)

    * - A useful way to check that SSA has correctly updated your information is by logging in to the online site, and click 'Replace your Social Security Card', once they have updated the citizenship status, it will allow you to order a new card, otherwise it reports that you are not a US citizen. I checked this a couple of times a day after mailing the documents to see when it had been updated.

How it is displayed before the update:

Just an update on my case,
I filed in March 2021 and had my interview last week. The interview went smoothly and after answering the 6 questions, the interviewer told me that I have passed and then moved to the YES/NO questions. He added some travel updates, but his system was so slow that it took 40 minutes to do that. In the end, he congratulated me and said he wants to give me a date for the oath ceremony but he couldn't because of his system. We waited 10 minutes, but it didn't happen. He gave me a congratulation and approval letter and said a letter with the oath date will be mailed to me.
However, on Monday my case was updated three times from "in the list for oath" to "case was submitted for quality review based on an approval". I have no clue what to do next.

    some misconceptions flying around here:

Tax returns, bank joint ownerships, car ownerships etc are asked from marriage based 3 yr N400 applicants as proving a successful ongoing marriage is proof that applicant satisfies N400 conditions.

5 yr employment based applicants are *NOT* asked for these documents as the burden of proving residence in US is based on a different criteria. employment based GCs are at most asked to upload marriage certificate (for their spouse is also applying for n400 and got their gc simultaneously) and birth certificates of kids if any, that's it. At the interview they will almost always ask you to produce passport + state ID + green card that's all.

    > My online shows 10 months but that does not seem right for boston area or is it?

there are plenty of messages on this board that say the 13 month countdown timer which decrements every month is pointless. almost every person who applies for N400 sees the counter start from 13 months. Some people have gotten interview notice within 3 weeks of applying, some people are waiting for 20 months. For people waiting > 13 months, the counter resets to 5 or 6 months after it reaches 0 with a message "your case is taking longer than usual" so you can safely ignore your 13 month counter

    > looking again for 5 year n400 filers in boston area. any update since your sept file ?
have you tried the timeline tool on VJ for your boston cases. i have set it to boston for you here: https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/citlist.php?op6=All&op7=Boston+MA&op1=6&op2=&op4=1&op5=&cfl=0

trackitt website also has an n400 tracker that you can filter for Boston here: https://www.trackitt.com/usa-immigration-trackers/n400

there is another tracker @ ***removed*** where you can track n400 cases from Boston but it isnt very active: https://www.***removed***/us-citizenship-tracker/

another option is to search through the reddit USCIS subreddit  for your boston n400 cases: https://www.reddit.com/r/USCIS/search/?q=boston AND (n400 OR citizen)&restrict_sr=1&sr_nsfw=

one more thing you can do is bookmark this page which will show you if anyone in this forum mentions the word Boston (that would mean their local office is most likely BOS), you can check it periodically to see any new mentions/discussions here: https://www.visajourney.com/search/?&q=boston&type=forums_topic&nodes=161&search_and_or=and&start_after=month&sortby=relevancy&emc_is_online=-1&emc_has_photo=-1

i don't think there much else you can do. There are plenty of cities larger than Boston represented here: NYC, LA, SFO, Houston, chicago and in every month's topic you would be lucky to find at most 1 or 2 folks from these big metros, so I am not sure doing a weekly roll call for Boston would do you much good in a forum where very few people visit and register and voluntarily enter their data

one can easily identify their likely USCIS interview office.

All you have to do is go to this page and enter your zip code at the bottom of this page and press submit. it will tell you your nearest field office. Your n400 interview will happen at this office:

I’m sorry, I’m not sure what ASC is, but I am guessing it’s a field office?
if that’s the case, my field office is Imperial, California!
