Got the interview letter today. Exactly 2 months after the DQ.

I feel your pain.  This is an agonizing process from start to finish.  My wife and I married in 2015, and we started our immigration journey in 2016.  We just entered the last leg (filing for citizenship) yesterday.  Sadly, it's a long road.  Good luck.

it would seem from their post on US embassy site , they do have a backlog

The United States Embassy to Sri Lanka and Maldives is gradually resuming some immigrant and nonimmigrant visa services. We understand that many visa applicants have paid the nonimmigrant visa MRV fee and are still waiting to schedule a visa appointment. The U.S. Embassy will extend the validity of your payment until September 23, 2023, to allow all applicants who were unable to schedule a visa appointment as a result of the suspension of routine consular operations an opportunity to schedule and/or attend a visa appointment with the already paid fee. Please continue to monitor this site for information on when we will return to routine visa operations.

The time for an interview letter pre-Covid was up to 3 months.  An expedite decision could take several weeks.  NVC cannot schedule an interview until the consulate has given then the available dates for the following month and only after your case is at the front of the queue. It is way too early to contact outside help, imo.  Patience is still the key.

I waited for the notification. One of the required documents to be submitted for a spouse K3 visa I-129f is the I-130 notification received by mail.

You can use the 864EZ since you are solely relying on your W2 income and you are dealing with separate petitions for each person.

Here is a similar thread though a little dated.

Gee1234 got a reaction from mamba69 in Beware of the automatic error caused by the electronic system on form I-130. (IR1/CR1)
I filed two I-130s for spouse and step son. This error appeared in both I-130s, and I requested updates for both separately. For Spouse I-130, the response was, "The typographical error has been corrected on your application or petition". For step son I-130, the response was, "Your service request has been forwarded to your file. The officer reviewing will make any appropriate changes to your file". So, I think both scenarios are good and this will have no adverse impact.

Same thing happened to me. Filed in October 2021 and noticed the same error. Reached out to USCIS through Emma, and they asked to submit a service request online similar to the advice in this thread. USCIS said expect a reply within 3 weeks.
