finally my i485 has been approved. Local office received my medical exams in July and today I received the approval notification. No interview.
 
thank you all for the support and for the help during all these years. I hope your cases will be approved soon.
 
I can’t wait to get my green card in my hands. The situation with my ex wife was not easy but God always was with me,

Hello everyone. 
congratulations to all the approvals . God is amazing. 
 
i finally got a letter for my interview. They only gave me 2 weeks to prepare, and get medical and all that. I’m so nervous. 
mom hoping they don’t ask me questions abt vawa. Makes me hurt all over again. 
 It states on the letter that the interview will be video taped is that normal? 
 

Firstly, all thanks be given to God almighty for his abundant GRACE  over my life and for allowing me to end this complicated vawa journey in this manner. 
Secondly, thanks to this great forum for had enabled me to go through this process with great supports,  more untimely tools and less stress. 
To round it all, my great appreciations to people like @Demise @sandraj @Stillwinning!!!😊 @TBoneTX @shiva32 @Pinkrlion and other valuable members.

My medical RFE was mailed on Monday.  The USPS tracking status shows that the mail was delivered on Tuesday at 12.30pm. 
Today at exactly 2pm I received this:

Thank to god.   Queen New york, vawa approved sept 2019,, I485 feb 2020,,, medical examination Agust 2022,,,3 week after they received it.  Agust 27 2022 new card is being produce, today approved.  God answer keep the faith.

Just got "New Card Is Being Produced" update on my I485 case. Cant stop smiling. I am now a permanent resident of the United ducking States of Murica. I will always be indebted to this group for the education, guidance and kindness provided. Nothing else on the internet or offline compares to what I got here. @TBoneTX, @Demise @Pinkrlion @Rhema1  @Anujra and so many others, you rock big time. Thank you also for tolerating my last minute jitters and anxiety. I will continue to haunt this group and will be available as needed, to share what little I know. For everyone waiting, please keep hope alive and I wish you success at the soonest. I hope you all find strength and courage every day from this group and elsewhere.

I sent my rfe in early July but haven’t heard anything yet. 
 
I understand how you would feel because I became also a bit impatient after the response. However, based on my research for the last couple months, there is no specific timeline that FO/ IO must finish their job after the rfe even if we feel it’s unfair.
 
I believe all the advice from people who are sharing their experiences and knowledge generously here is very valuable. So do what you can and think right thing to do. But also what we need to do might be really surrendering in a way. Focus on what you can and what you have, don’t loose hope it will be done sometime soon. 
 
Hope everyone can hear good news soon…! We all are on the same boat. At least, not alone anymore..!

would like to share a good news! My VAWA was approved today. It's so sudden because my timeline is way shorter than 2 years.
 
I have been tracking every details of my case and i will share my timeline so that other people may benefit from it as i did in the past.
 
Total 16 months for I-360 since the receive date.

I got approved for my I360 yesterday, and writing this post for people who wants any update regarding timeline matter. 
 

 
June 2020 : I485&I360 filed together
Aug 2020 : 1st combo card approval(for 1year)

June 2022 : 2nd combo card approval(for 2year)
Aug 2022 : I360 Approval, I485 is pending
 
I guess…I received 4 prima facie which is I didnt count that much cuz… they’re just keep sending with extended date.
 
 
I pray for everybody’s approval ASAP from my bottom of heart. 
 
 
 

Coming back with the timeline!!!

October 2019 - submitted I-360, I-485 (and EAD/AP)
August 2021 - C31 issued
September 2021 - I-360 approved
October 2021 - I-693 def notice
waiting waiting waiting....
did not get a transfer notice

and then this slow moving ride became a rollercoaster...
all in July 2022
I-693 RFE from local office
I-693 sent sent back
I-485 approved (within a few days)
GC issued and delivered

I had 3 C09 EADs over the years. I remember the first one took about 4 months and the last one took 10-11 months.
