I just came back to USA few days ago. I travelled on AP. I was out for almost 40 days. it was a smooth trip. This was my third trip since VAWA is pending. 
I am Dec, 2019 filler. 

Not everybody gets prima facie not sure why, usually they issue prima facie if they think you can be  eligible for Vawa 
 I finished my GC journey without prima facie and the journey was smooth.
 
 I think the best way is to contact your congressman to inquire your combo card for you

THE LAWYER AND THE TWO BEARS
 
A lawyer and his Czechoslovakian friend were camping in a backwoods section of Maine.
 
Early one morning, the two went out to pick berries for their morning breakfast.  As they went around the berry patch, gathering blueberries and raspberries in tremendous quantities, along came two huge bears -- a male and a female.  The lawyer, seeing the two bears, immediately dashed for cover.  His friend, however, wasn't so lucky, and the male bear reached him and swallowed him whole.
 
The lawyer ran back to his Mercedes, tore into town as fast as he could, and got the local sheriff.  The sheriff grabbed his shotgun and dashed back to the berry patch with the lawyer.  Sure enough, the two bears were still there.
 
"He's in THAT one!" cried the lawyer, pointing to the male, as visions of lawsuits from his friend's family danced in his head.
 
The sheriff looked at the bears.  Without batting an eye, he leveled his gun, took careful aim, and shot the female.
 
"What did you do THAT for?!" exclaimed the lawyer.  "I said he was in the other!"
 
"Exactly," replied the sheriff.  "Would YOU believe a lawyer who told you the Czech was in the male?"
 

Good morning. 
Yesterday out of the blue my congresswoman sent me an email about my case, saying that my local office issued me a RFE to mail in my medical. So I scheduled it for Monday!!! 
for those who sent in medicals, how long did it take for the case to be approved??

THE MOST AMAZING STORY
 
A young man takes the day off work and decides to go out golfing.  He is at the second hole when he notices a frog sitting next to the green.  He thinks nothing of it and is about to swing when he hears, "Ribbit.  9-Iron."  The man looks around and doesn't see anyone.  "Ribbit.  9-Iron."
 
He looks at the frog and decides to prove it wrong.  He puts his other club away, and grabs a 9-iron.  Boom!  He hits it 10 inches from the cup.  He is shocked!  He says to the frog, "Wow; that's amazing.  You must be a lucky frog, eh?"
 
The frog replies, "Ribbit.  Lucky frog."
 
The man decides to take the frog with him to the next hole.  "What do you think, frog?" the man asks.
 
"Ribbit.  3-wood."
 
The guy takes out a 3-wood, and boom!  A hole-in-one.  The man is befuddled and doesn't know what to say.  By the end of the day, the man has golfed the best game in his life and asks the frog, "OK, where to next?"
 
The frog replies, "Ribbit.  Las Vegas."
 
They go to Las Vegas and the guy says, "OK, frog; now what?"
 
The frog says, "Ribbit.  Roulette."
 
Upon approaching the roulette table, the man asks, "What do you think I should bet?"
 
The frog replies, "Ribbit.  $3,000.  Black 6."
 
Now, this is a million-to-one shot to win, but after the golf game, the young man figures what the heck.  Boom - tons of cash comes sliding back across the table.
 
The man takes his winnings and buys the best room in the hotel.  He sits the frog down and says, "Frog, I don't know how to repay you.  You've helped me to win all this money and I am forever grateful."
 
The frog replies, "Ribbit.  Kiss me."
 
He figures, why not?  After all that the frog did for him, it is a small price to pay.  With the kiss, the frog turns into a gorgeous 28-year-old young woman.
 
"And that, your honor, is exactly how your wife ended up in my room."
 

Hello, dont worry ripe fruits is always better than newly grown ones , it tastes sweeter. This is a test for all of us, I know for a fact we all are going through very difficult times during this wait. Some of our stories are way worst than others and some are little better but then again a heart can only take so much. I get anxiety, panic attacks and depressed suddenly out of nowhere. Weekends used to be Christmas for me id look forward to it but now weekends seems much depressive than any other days. It happens, find a hobby, meet your friends or see family members if you have. Make a routine each day so it keeps you busy. Trust me if you are all alone all day it will make you more depressed and will make your life more difficult. Seek therapist once a week, the one person you can trust and talk about yourself. It is very important to lift these burden off our shoulder. Since our ex's did  not knew our worth God gave us a chance to love ourselves. It is time to love ourselves and give the happiness to our own soul that was in need from long time.  Your journey just started keep praying with no time you will make through.

PF only gives you an ability to quality for public benefits that are not given to GC holders who have been in the US for less than 5 years.  It has nothing to do with your deportation and the adjudication of your VAWA.  

You need to learn to let go of things that you can’t change or have control over . Get an app that notifies if there is an update in your case . So that you won’t check everyday on the website and get anxious,frustrated . Gym or any sports is a must !!! Try to think of a goal or plan you can set to achieve while waiting for your decision. 

-- Throw yourself into a hobby
-- Violent physical exercise
-- Make plans for and get things lined up for what you'll do right after approval
-- Laugh at Official Weekly VAWA-Thread Jokes (another one imminent tomorrow/Sunday)
This is your greatest asset right now, and it's prevalent among participants in this thread.  Consider that your conscientious nature plus available time can mean so much for others:
-- Investigate the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program (help a child)
-- Visit with and run errands for a shut-in or lonely elderly person
-- Zillions of other such opportunities (look for them)
 
The concomitant boon is that helping others will take your mind off yourself.  

I'm in the same boat, applied concurrently in April 2021, biometrics reused in May 2021, no update since then, keeping my fingers crossed for a quick EAD hopefully I get it before I get even more depressed !
 
What do you all do to cope up with this wait - having gone through the long wait times you must've developed some coping skills ?

I believe you need to write a letter requesting the extension via certified mail .

Hello All, I’ve been silently reading through and just caught up with the latest comments. I’ve only just started my journey May, 2021 (filed concurrently) and I did my biometrics this week (Aug, 2021). Biometrics is not yet reflecting on the lawfully app, Case Tracker App or uscis website and im yet to get any PF, RFE or EAD.
it would be a lot easier and less worrisome if I could get my Combo card soon so I can start working.
The group comments gives hope though.

I have been a ghost member of this forum  for over 2 years, i always come here to read comments anytime I'm depressed about my case  and nobody to talk to about it since no one as an answer, this group has been so helpful to me because most of my questions was ask and answer by others members thankful for that and now I have decided to share with you guys my case history hopefully tomorrow as my vawa just got approve this Monday 🥺😁

When it comes to i360, USCIS will not take anything your spouse says/info they give into consideration! You should read in-depth about this petition so you can have peace of mind! Note that when you call USCIS you have to go through a number of security hurdles only to meet with a brick wall! “I’m sorry we’re not able to give out information concerning this case” I wouldn’t worry too much if I were you!😊👍

June 11 2021 - fees were waived i360, i485, i765, i131
July 22 2021 - Case was updated to show Fingerprints were taken ( Online shows Only for i485, but the receipt says for both i485 and i360 but not for i765 )

Today my I-360 application is updated that a new card was ordered. I would like to thank you all for your valuable information and your encouragements. I’m waiting for the approval notice.
My PD is 10/7/2019

I totally relate with your last statements! This is not an easy journey but with time it will belong in the distant past!🙏 there’s no set time to receive prima facie…matter of fact not everyone gets it but still proceeds. You can also request it if you need it. EAD can be expedited under certain grounds…with evidence!👍

This should be pretty simple. Looks like he did not provide sufficient evidence to the RFE about GMC. USCIS clearly mentions what they need here and from this forum I have learned that if you get this RFE, you also need to submit police report/FBI record etc. I'll let @Stillwinning!!!😊respond too, but he should act fast in gathering these records and writing clearly about his criminal history
 
since this is denial now, it would even be a good idea to consult with a lawyer
