Hi everybody! New to the forum and very happy to read all your success stories! I updated my timeline to the best of my abilities so you may check it out on my profile!

I'm filing from outside the US. My husband is the USC.

Overall, I think everything has moved quickly however now we're in the home stretch which I fear will be the longest one - waiting for my local US Embassy for an interview  Anyone's got some knowledge of wait time for the Dominican Republic?

    Summary of my timeline below:
    I-130 filed - 5/5/2021 NOA2 - 1/6/2022 NVC - 1/11/2022 DQ'd - 4/20/22 Good luck to all!!

    I-130 was approved!
    260 days.
NOA1 told us we were at Nebraska. Emma said Vermont. Have not personally seen approval notice but assume we were approved out of Vermont.
    PD: July 5, 2021
First Active Review: December 10, 2021
Second Active Review: March 21, 2022
(Husband logged in and saw approval notice March 21, 2022)
    Officially Approved: March 22,  2022.

Now, we wait for Welcome letter.
Question: Who do they send the welcome letter to? Beneficiary AND petitioner or only petitioner?

    Thank you!
What seems to be happening in some cases is that the K3/K4 will be denied, but they approve/start processing the I130 instead. So for us, we're using it as a nudge rather than an actual application. It's free when you already have a I130 in. We had some things come up with our current living situation and the visa process is taking longer than expected so hopefully this will help speed things up so we can get moving.

My interview (ir1) was 16th of november. I was scheduled for 8.30, I was second in line for security, but they didn't start letting people in until 9.15. I then waited another 30 minutes or so inside after handing them my originals. The interview itself didn't even take 5 minutes. I was out by 10, possible a smidge before.

    Hi guys!
Just want to write a bit about my journey, in case someone will be in the same boat as me, and is looking for information.

My situation is a little unique, since I was born in Iraq, and came to Denmark as a refugee when I was 3 years old. I am a Danish citizen only, and don't have an Iraqi birth certificate, but we submitted my Person Attest. It will be super interesting to see if I will be processed as a Dane or as an Iraqi. Will keep everyone updated, and if anyone is in the same situation, don't hesitate to reach out! 😊
