Yey! So weird question… where does your say it’s originating? Mine says Ste-Catherine ( which is like 5 min from my house) just wondering if that’s the closest purolator warehouse or something. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I would of thought the origin was directly from the Montreal embassy

By the looks of it that’s the sorting place they need to be picked up still.

Same here. Hoping to see our tracking numbers today and passports on Monday as that seems to be the typical trend.

Fingers are crossed! I had my interview on November 4th and was approved that day. I wish I could just go get my passport at the Embassy! I live 20 min from there.

I keep checking my email and nothing yet. I know they have been busy but still hope to see that email today

I don't appreciate you telling me not to worry. It is completely invalidating my feelings that I am well warranted to have. I am clearly not getting my passport back by the 3 week mark and so you telling me constantly that I will get it back very soon, is kind of rubbing me the wrong way. Who knows when I will get it back. I have been positive this whole journey which has now taken more than 2 years, only to be hit with this delay that hasn't seemed to happen really to anyone else who was straight away approved other than Katelynn who ended up receiving hers back within the 3 weeks.

It's clear that the consulate loses sight of some cases as it has happened to CanadianJeff and I am 100% in my right to be worried about where one of my most important documents are.

At the end of the day, it's good to be positive and to provide support in that way, but sometimes, I just want you to reflect on the fact that there is someone on the other end of this message that isn't doing well right now, and sometimes the message of oh it will come, is not helpful at all.

To be honest what has happened in ur case is very common. We may not have seen it much in the past two years because they don’t have many ppl being interviewed. It’s very possible a case was miss placed or skipped and not noticed. I’ve seen many ppl over the past 3 years inquiring about it and YouTube videos of lawyer saying this happens. This is prom reason why my husband and I hired an attorney. In the last batch of interview one person was skipped this is speed of government sadly and human errors do happen. Only advice I’d give is keep sending emails and if nothing come of if it do as Jeff did. I my self was worried every step of this journey my paper work would be skipped.

    Hi all!

quick question, how would I I know if the medical exam results have been received by the Consulate? The Dr office mailed them out the 4th our interview is next week the 18th just make sure it's been received.

If ur drs office said it was mailed out then it was already sent. I never heard from the drs saying it was sent that’s why I reached out to them. Once it went threw I got an email saying it was sent :)

No tracking number for me either. I assume that if we don't get a track number today then we are likely to not see the passports until Monday at the earliest?

That’s what I’m thinking I been checking the spread sheet and it seems 5-7 days to get ur passport back after the interview

Looks like the Consulate is closed tomorrow for Veteran's Day/Remembrance Day.

It also looks like some people are getting 'Issued in Final Processing' status updates today instead of Thursday like I expected since the consulate is closed. Mine still says 'Ready'.  Looks like I'm not going to get my passport tracking Friday.

    This is ridiculous.

I still don’t have my tracking number I think that will be sent out on Friday.

  7. Things I noticed today was a lot of ppl were missing docs showed up with backpacks. Also noticed a lot of ppl didn’t have there medicals in on time. I over preped just in case brought all my requested paperwork plus some. I also made sure to have all my originals and all original tax docs from 2019 and 2020 just case. This did save me in the end as they want to see them. I also brought proof of continued relationship so chat logs flight tickets ect. I wasn’t asked for them but you never know. I was asked the normal questions as everyone else I was asked if we had any kids and let them know we just had cats since they are our kids. I also brought copy of my husbands stuff eg birth certificate passport ect. I went a little ham but didn’t want to miss anything. My husband waited outside for me the whole time I’m not sure who was more nervous me or him lol.

Weird part is when I was handing over my documents before the actual interview, my medicals weren’t uploading and the lady had to go to another computer to get it.

Hopefully it doesn’t take to long for the AP and I get the final approval.

I’m issued already too... dr office said the systems were glitched they had to fax mine in

    Which doctor’s office is this?

It was one in Toronto but the issue they said was on the consulates side. They kept me up to date on what was going on and worked really hard to fix it for that 10/10. Also the medical was a breeze wasn’t even in the office for 20 X-ray took like 10 mins bloodwork well that’s another story lol
