Hi guys! I got good news today! It’s the end of my journey!!! I really appreciate y’all being so helpful and I know how this heartbreaking this process is… We all went through a lot of sh*t in relationship and I know how hard it is deal with all this for a long time after! But trust me,in the end it feels good! I’ll still try to answer questions here!

It means you have an myonline USCIS account as well as
It means you have myonline USCIS account as well as case status account.
The case status account gives you real time info, whilst the myonline USCIS account has a day lag time.
I found this out as it happened to me and I got extremely confused. But was able to solve the puzzle cos both accounts are under two separate emails.
So if you check, the second alert is only telling you info you already know from the first alert
I did try to check bot 0 updates since “Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken”

This means that an action has been taken on your case.
You can login into your uscis online account to know exactly what action has been taken.
Sometimes it goes with an email sent to you.
But on thing I know is that a letter or a notice will follow this update
I did login but same I don’t have any updates there

It seems they approved your case. You mentioned that you file form I-485, did you have a I-485 pending before filing a new one? if yes then the interview should be regarding the first I-485, if not then they approved you VAWA.
Probably you will get your GC without interview.
Thanks! How long it usually takes them to send it if it’s the case?
-
Well thank you guys! I hope interview was waived for sure…I feel like I was waiting for sooooo long already….

Hey guys so the uscis scheduled me interview in state I don’t reside any longer I went for interview anyway and because of COVID restrictions (I took domestic flight) they had to reschedule my interview and I ask them to do in my new state office, so how long you suggest it will take to get new interview notice? Btw I’m in Illinois state. Thanks!

Thank you for sharing your timeline, I filed everything on June 2021, No since all your i-485 background check and internal processing have been finished for them to schedule your interview ( " in my opinion") the field office just need to fit you in their interview schedule. What you can do is ask what month and year are Chicago office scheduling the interview.
Where I can ask that?

Can you share your timeline? Since they have forwarded your case to the state you reside, that field office will be having jurisdiction on your case and it depends on the waiting list of that particular FO.
So I’ll have to wait all over from beginning again??? June 2019 filled all together, vawa approved February 2021,interview notice June 2021,I’m in Chicago now

Hi guys, hope yall doing good. Let me share my story with you. I did got interview notice for July 19 in state I no longer live in(yes my attorney made address change didn’t work) so on day X I came to field office and they didn’t let me go in! Asked me I in the last 14 days I flew domestic(I did fly in the state I used to live obviously) they told me to sit down and supervisor came talk to me,he said unfortunately they have to reschedule my interview cuz of COVID restrictions,I gave him my interview notice and address change and he said he will send my case that day evening to my new office in my state, but since day they received my case I don’t have any updates on my case status! Just saying case was received! Don’t even have that “interview was scheduled “ update, how long yall suggest I’ll have to wait more? I’m so tired and depressed already….
