    Though someone on the UK facebook group today said she was DQ'd last month and still hasn't heard anything. So maybe the London embassy has slowed down. I think we will hear soon though about any January interview dates. I'm not complaining though if I have to wait till February! Nothing worse than feeling rushed, even though I have waited over a year for this to finally happen 🤣

    I see, I'm actually interviewing at the Swiss US Embassy as I reside here although they stated that they will shutdown for the month of Jan due to the WEF 😕 - would be interesting to see whether they move me to London for any reason or give me a later date here... just have to wait and see. Anything can happen due to the pandemic.

    I don't think there is any less amount of people stuck at NVC, as the wait times are still around 90 days for review. There are plenty of people in the NVC facebook groups still waiting for DQ's :( 

    Ah got it! What's the UK interview wait looking like at the moment?

    Great news!!! I wonder if less people submitted in September. 

     

    For anyone that doesn't know (I was unaware), when DQ'd you receive 2 emails, the 2nd one actually states that you are DQ'd in the subject of the email.

     

    I was so excited that I didn't notice that and jumped straight onto the CEAC website....silly me! lol I actually thought they sent the same email twice by accident.

    We requested  to expedite twice and got denied both times.  

    Congrats!! Was the approval notice from Vermont also?

    Hey guys,

    Update: we got an RFE on the app yesterday. Not sure what it is for as there was no notice online and apparently it arrives by mail within 7 working days. 

     

    My case is at Vermont so any movement is better than nothing! :) Visajourney was very accurate on Vermont processing times as our PD is 12th Feb and that's what was shown when we received the RFE as current processing date on here. Very surprised!

     

    Not sure if anyone here has had a similar situation with RFE from Vermont (Spouse + USC). If yes, please share your experience. Thanks!

    No updates yet. Still case received. Trying not to check everyday but after waiting 9 months for the I-129f k1, withdrawing, getting married, and now waiting for this, we are aching to get some progress. Being apart and being married is so hard. I know everyone is struggling with the same. 💖

    Yea, I understand...it's so hard. I have been checking everyday hahaha and then mine changed to 'case being actively reviewed' yesterday so I'm hoping that an officer is looking at it. I think it's at Texas but who knows haha.

    Approval times are all over the place 😕

    Hey! Yep - all those that mailed in get an IOE number (including me!) as they upload the case to the online system. The paper receipt then states actual service center as per my understanding - which seems to differ from the online version for a lot of people! It could change at anytime it seems...

     

    Has yours changed status since being received?

    You received NOA2 the same day?? or do you mean NOA1? 

     

    @JAI TUTEJA I filed by mail only due to glitches, I agree with others that it seems much faster to get the receipt notice online!

     

    There is no variance in processing time whether it be online or mail as per my understanding as mailed packages are back dated to when the package was actually received.

    Hi, that’s good! I have been read that the text message is received within 2 days of the cc charge and mail within a week... I haven’t received it in the mail yet (forgot to fill the e-notification)... keep us posted! :)
