Skyman got a reaction from Aquabac in My K-1 Petition Was Denied – Need Advice [merged threads]
I doubt the age difference has anything to do with it. It never got to the interview. Most likely the Divorce Decree was lacking.

Skyman got a reaction from OldUser in Long Stay on B2 Visa
So the 'attorney' who is related to your brother's gf is pressuring him to marry her?

Supposedly the attorney visit was prompted just by the current immigration situation in the US. They are in the Los Angeles area. My brother shared that the attorney is a family friend of hers and offered to meet with them free of charge.
The idea about marriage seems to have come out of nowhere. So yes, I'm concerned, and am advising him to slow down.

Age difference isn't a factor as long as you can show a real relationship.

If brother feels pressure to marry , then he is not ready to commit to marriage at this time
To AOS as the lawyer says is quite expensive and he would need to completely support her till she has the green card and that can take some considerable time. Being forced to marry under these circumstances would hardly make for a favorable union.
He should let her visit till admit date on the I 94 and then the 2 can decide to continue with the relationship
B2 visa and he a USC can make trips to meet and decide on their future without someone forcing it on them for "a huge attorney fee"
If she returns as the admit date requires, the B2 will not be cancelled

Possibly. Frequent and/or long trips to the US as a visitor can trigger more scrutiny and or a suspicion that a person is trying to live in the US without a proper visa. Who is applying this pressure? The attorney who wants to make thousands of dollars by filling in some immigration forms?

Skyman got a reaction from Dashinka in Expired K-1 visa and have not started adjustment of status
I'm assuming she doesn't even have an ITIN so he's missing out on tax deductions.

I can only imagine that this would raise eyebrows over at USCIS.

His wife is not a priority then... it doesn't look like a bonafide marriage, sadly.

Skyman got a reaction from top_secret in N-400 September 2024 filers
So, finally through the Oath ceremony yesterday and today status change to:
"On April 22, 2025, we issued your Certificate of Naturalization for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, Receipt Number xxxxxxxxxx. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."
Can anyone give a good reason to keep my address current with USCIS?

Actually, what I was wondering was if they actually sent updates based on the email on the DS-11 or if you had to go get it yourself. However, I just got a notification.

That is true. Considering it's no additional cost, I see no reason why somebody should go for a standard book. The timeline for producing both is the same, so is the cost. I'd rather get large passport book and use less pages than I need VS get standard and run out of pages, requiring to get new passport sooner (and pay fees again).
I had a standard passport from different country in the past. Used all pages and had to get large book from that country for additional cost about 3 years ahead of old passport expiration.
