  2. Thrilling Sunday report, see man: We got laundry going right away, do not repeat last time's mistake we man. Scurried to collect various extra items for Mama T-B., request senior she man of we man man. Visited Mama T-B., Two Guys man. Mama T-B. highly interested in Mini-B.'s light saber, high-tech weaponry man. We detoured to visit Uncle T-B., eyedrop instructions man. Uncle T-B. hadn't even opened the eyedrop packages, man. He didn't comprehend "use this one Many times tomorrow, this one once, & ignore this one," no man. He kept murmuring about "weaseling out" of the cataract operation, man. We don't like to think about what our blood pressure was after all that, no man. Lunch was courtesy of Mama T-B., last day of month for meal money for senior she man man. Mini-B. had leftovers on hand, ingest wee man. We got the Sunday lunch of pineapple ham, sweet taters, & broccoli/carrots/cauliflower, ingest we man. Mama T-B. gave Mini-B. a "Rice Krispies chocolate rabbit" from Easter, ingest later wee man. At the casa, we continued with laundry, intrepid we man. Eventually tried to siesta, attempted zzz we man. Uncle T-B. called twice and ex-Mrs.-T-B. once, ignore both and we man. Ex-Mrs.-T-B. wanted us to come over for the Ecu-Mexico kickball game, excited ex-she man. Uncle T-B. wanted to hire a "caregiver" to instill his eyedrops, man. We called Mama T-B. to report the latter, at wit's end we man. We told ex-Mrs.-T-B. that we would be over in due time, leave us alone during siestas man. We told Uncle T-B. to do what he wanted, but that we had invested quite enough time in this whole thing and he had to show some matching effort, only way to get through to him per Mama T-B. man. We left the casa with Mini-B. in time for ex-Mrs.-T-B.'s arrival time of Many (2+2+2) p.m., si man. Ex-Mrs.-T-B. wasn't then sure of the starting time, man. Ex-she man made us and Mini-B. some beef sandwiches on huge buns, ingest Two Guys man. The stupid kickball game didn't start for nearly an hour later, Spanish-people time man. We suffered through almost an hour of 0-0 score and excused ourself, end of Two Guys week man. We ran errands, then just inquired about the score, inquire we man. This entrancing example of Many'rd-World kickball ended in a gripping 0-0 tie, man. We must dish the warsher and empty the perfectly performing new miu-box, then all chores done man. We must chauffeur Mama T-B. to a vampire appointment (blood-draw) on Monday morn, chauffeur senior she man we man. We must also phone Uncle T-B. multiple times to see if he's complying with eyedrops, yeah right man. Party with the rubias later, cavort we man. And that was/is our thrilling Sunday, report we man.
  3. We've had one. As I've stated, I distinctly fear internal or external strikes now, just before November 5, or after Bidementia's lame-duckhood.
  4. You know, if CBP asks, I'd offer the above as a perfectly reasonable explanation that needs no elaboration. CBP has certainly heard this a zillion times before.
  5. Thanks for returning with your good news! Your update will certainly be valuable to others. It really might be worth contacting your State representative or senator to get this resolved. It's a small and rather arcane matter, but once it's handled, the way for others is clear. If you decide to do this, let us know the outcome.
  6. Sunday -- time for our Official Weekly VAWA-Thread Joke: ============================================================= ARE YOU SURE THAT'S ENOUGH? An elderly gentleman went to the local drug store and asked the pharmacist to fill his prescription for Viagra. "How many do you want?" asked the pharmacist. The man replied, "Just a few, maybe half a dozen. I cut each one into four pieces." Upon hearing that, the pharmacist said, "That's too small a dose. That won't get you through intercourse." The old fellow said, "Oh, I'm past 90 years old and I don't even think about that. I just want it to stick out enough so I don't pee on my shoes."

  8. Jill Biden Refuses To Drop Out Of Presidential Race WASHINGTON, DC — Following the disastrous Presidential debate, First Lady Jill Biden announced she will not drop out of the race despite growing calls from within the party to do so. "Over my husband's dead body!" Mrs. Biden declared. "The nomination is MINE. You hear me, Joe Scarborough? MINE! Now get back to work, fools!" 9. Journalists Dumbfounded As There Were No Previous Signs Of Biden Declining Whatsoever NEW YORK, NY — Journalists from media outlets around the country are reeling from shock after Biden's performance in the presidential debate, caught completely off guard by the President's steep mental decline. "There were no warning signs. None," said MSNBC anchor Joe Scarborough. [...] https://babylonbee.com/news/journalists-dumbfounded-as-there-were-no-previous-signs-of-biden-declining-whatsoever
  10. Uh-oh, from a defense attorney... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fischer v. United States – A Tale of Two Readings: All May Not Be What It Seems [...] As I read it, my reaction was, "This is a Home Run." The Government will be precluded from attempting to apply this 20-year obstruction statute based on the events of the day on January 6. For defendants who engaged in no act of violence towards law enforcement, this should be their path to much better outcomes. For defendants already sentenced for a conviction on this charge, their cases should now come back to the District Court for resentencing on any other counts they may have faced, but in most cases, those other counts would be less serious, and the new sentences should be shorter. Then the phone rang. [...] https://redstate.com/shipwreckedcrew/2024/06/29/fischer-v-united-states-a-tale-of-two-readings-all-may-not-be-what-it-seems-n2176146
  11. Or, maybe I spoke too soon in the post just above. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Report: Biden Expected to Meet With Family at Camp David to Discuss the Future of His Campaign Following Thursday's disastrous debate and widespread speculations about President Joe Biden being replaced as the Democratic nominee, his weekend plans indicate a change of course may be on the horizon. Biden plans to meet with family members at Camp David on Sunday to discuss the future of his campaign, five sources familiar with the matter told NBC News. [...] https://redstate.com/brutalbrittany/2024/06/29/biden-expected-to-meet-with-family-at-camp-david-to-discuss-the-future-of-his-campaign-n2176179
  12. Discussion, please. I don't think that the elites, if they approach Bidementia directly, will have any luck getting him to withdraw. He's not in a position to decide. An overthrow at or after the Dem convention wouldn't work well, either, from what we're reading. No one has yet suggested criminally charging Dr. Jill with elder abuse specifically so she'll agree to withdraw Bidementia from the race, thus opening the field. Valid or invalid idea?
  13. This, I think, is a particularly good analysis from a P.R. standpoint. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Democrat Operatives Committed the Classic PR Blunder Whelp… Over the next several days, there will be a litany of kneejerk reactions to assess the debate's PR fallout via opinion polls and various audience snapshots, but alas, they won't tell you anything useful. This was one of those events where the sands of popular opinion will still shift dramatically over the next several days. So, it really doesn't matter where we are right now; what matters is where we're going to be. Media outlets love to rely upon these Frank Luntz-inspired polling experts who'll bloviate endlessly about which moments triggered the most clicks or what an audience thought on a minute-by-minute basis, but this information is mostly irrelevant. Why? Because these events – and, specifically, that level of Biden trainwreck – don't consist of a bunch of individual moments multiplied. The human brain didn't score the Trump-Biden debate on a 10-point must system, where you add up the scorecards and see who won the most rounds. That's just not how an audience processes information. What's truly important isn't the sum of individual moments but the feeling when all those moments are over. 14. Sensible solution proposed here. Comments? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Migrants Being Evicted From Boston's Logan Airport Earlier this month, we discussed the situation at Boston's Logan International Airport, where illegal migrants have been camping out on the floors each night before being taken on buses for day trips to migrant care facilities during the day. This was an untenable situation from the beginning, with incidents of theft and unsanitary conditions riling up the legitimate travelers seeking to fly in and out of the city. Now, Governor Maura Healey has announced that the unofficial airport shelter program will be coming to an end on July 6. Buses will no longer be provided and the migrants will need to evacuate from the terminals. The one thing she failed to indicate during the announcement was where the migrants were supposed to go. The state-run shelters remain full to the brim. Migrant advocates are up in arms and the Healey administration doesn't appear to have any answers for them. 15. Media dishonesty NAILED. That debate told us nothing new, so why should the media keep gaslighting us with how surprised they are? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Media Dispatches From an Alternate Universe [...] So in about 24 hours we've gone from a not so subtle message being pushed by most of the media which could be fairly summarized as Republicans are lying about President Biden's mental faculties to a new lie. I won't summarize that one yet. You'll be able to pick it up on your own. Let's start with this story from Axios headlined "Two Joe Bidens: The night America saw the other one." [...] https://hotair.com/john-s-2/2024/06/29/media-dispatches-from-an-alternate-universe-n3791169
  16. I agree with this very pointed reasoning. Comments? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Maher, Matthews: Why Won't Dems Just Hand the Nomination to Newsom? "People, at the end of the day, want to win," Bill Maher said on last night's Real Time on HBO. But is that the case on the Left? Now that the panic has hit the Democrat disco, we could be about to find out. Newsbusters grabbed this two-minute exchange between Maher and former MSNBC host Chris Matthews discussing Joe Biden's prospects for suffering a massive landslide loss in November. Maher notes the post-debate polling on the performances of Biden and Donald Trump, and then wonders why Democrats haven't already started plotting to rescue themselves from oncoming disaster. Matthews throws a little cold water on this idea, although not nearly enough: [...] https://hotair.com/ed-morrissey/2024/06/29/maher-matthews-why-wont-dems-just-hand-the-nomination-to-newsom-n3791163
  17. TIME Magazine weighs in, pretty accurately. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Inside Biden's Debate Disaster and the Scramble to Quell Democratic Panic As President Joe Biden was going over his final notes with his inner circle and getting ready to debate Donald Trump on June 27 in Atlanta, his wife slipped into a nearby meeting of the Democratic Party's biggest donors. The Biden Victory Fund and the Democratic National Committee's financial bigwigs had all assembled in the Ritz Carlton as part of a two-day political briefing that featured emotional pep talks and face-time with VIPs. "Joe's ready to go," Dr. Biden told the group. "He's prepared." Fact check: false. [...] https://time.com/6993760/joe-biden-debate-disaster-democratic-panic/
  18. Sean Davis has a way of going right to the heart of a matter. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Can Democrats Just Dump Biden And Move On? It's Not That Simple Will Democrats replace Joe Biden as their presidential nominee? It's not that simple, logistically or politically, as long he's still alive. States have pretty strict rules on last-second ballot changes, but Democrats have always found ways to get courts to rewrite laws for them at the last second. Just look at what they did for Frank Lautenberg and Robert Torricelli in New Jersey. It would be a heavy lift but not an impossible one. The real problem for Democrats is political: Removing Biden as nominee requires them to deny and reject the election results of their voters in all 50 states after they spent four years accusing everyone else of being "election deniers." They also will have a very hard time removing Biden as nominee but leaving him in as president. If he's not mentally fit to be on the campaign trail or debate stage, how on Earth can he be fit enough to remain as president? The downsides of that strategy are immense, with little upside. [...] https://thefederalist.com/2024/06/28/can-dems-just-dump-biden-and-move-on-its-not-that-simple/
  19. All true, but everyone should be aware of the protocol and format in my post just above. The notary can get into trouble (and documents can be rejected by agencies or authorities, maybe or maybe not including USCIS) if a notary whips out the notary seal and simply stamps a plain letter. Your bank may have one or more notaries who can notarize customers' signatures at no charge. UPS stores and other notaries may charge a nominal fee that's authorized by the state where you live.
  20. Thrilling Saturday report, see man: For the first Saturday in memory, we neither itineraried or sought out a GS/ES, historic man. Mini-B. and we lazed in bed till late morning, laze Two Guys man. Lunch was PB&J sandwiches, 2 for Mini-B. one for us man. Around 2 p.m., we returned to Walmart for the rest of Mama T-B.'s list, everything found there man. Delivered stuff to Mama T-B., appreciative senior she man. Got thoroughly lectured at great length about all the usual topics, lecture senior she man we man. Din-din was Many (2+1) evenly split Walmart beef/bean burritos, ingest Two Guys man. Had Mini-B. accepted our original idea, the week's meals would have been exactly as planned, oh well man. Movie night was Many Everybody Hates Chris episodes, watch Two Guys man. Many (2+2) bowls of Costco popcorn were consumed, ingest Two Guys man. This tallies to Many (2x2x2x2 -1) bowls for the week, completely respectable man. Miu zzz'd on Big Bruddah's bed for probably Many (2+2+2+1) hours today, zzz miu man. New miu-box still operating as intended, big relief man. Perhaps party with the rubias tonight, feeling almost back to normal we man. Two Guys visit to Mama T-B. on Sunday, visit Two Guys senior she man man. We should detour to Uncle T-B. to review preop eyedrop usage, confirm we man with senior he man man. And that was/is our thrilling Saturday, report we man.
  21. Notaries notarize signatures, not documents. The following is not legal advice, but the outcome of observation: 1. The witness can put his/her statement in the form of an affidavit, with the notary-certification language included. The notary can administer a jurat oath whereby the witness shows positive identification (driver's license or other government-issued ID), swears that he/she is the person signing in the presence of the notary, and swears that he/she is signing the affidavit freely/willingly for the purposes stated therein; or 2. The witness can attach a separate page to his/her letter, swearing or acknowledging that the attached letter is his/her truthful statement. The witness would then sign the separate page in the presence of the notary. After either of the above, the notary would sign and stamp the appropriate page.
  22. I'm almost willing to bet cash money that there will be internal terrorist attacks either right before November 5 or during Bidementia's lame-duck months before Trump's inauguration. Really hate to say that...
  23. This, and, perhaps even more so, Dr. Jill and her ego. You've nailed it. It almost has to be voluntary, or else the Democrats are hosed.
  24. Trump could have stuck the dagger all the way in if, in his closing statement, he'd mournfully said, "Something else we need in this country is stronger protection against elder abuse." Independent of the above, I think that both of them really muffed their closing statements.
