Thrilling Friday non-ES report, see man: Our stomach was hurting on the ES trail, unsure why man. We made it through the ESs and went to Aldi, glad that this was all on the itinerary man. Made it back to the casa and took care of the stomach issue, comfortable POTS* man. *buy yours today, si man! Siesta'd rather fitfully afterward, any zzz better than no zzz man. Breakfast/lunch/din-din (at nearly Many [2+2+2] p.m.) was from Whataburger**, ingest we man. **WUOC, financially savvy we man It was the Bacon Steakhouse Double*** + med. fries/drink, ingest we man. ***free WUOC, otherwise would never be on our radar man After din-din, decided to mow full lawn, in great need after "hurricane" man. Most was in shadow with some breeze, but it still nearly killed us, near-death we man. Nearly 2 hours later, we still haven't recovered, what's up with that man. Miu has been extremely quiescent all day, quiescent miu man. We have itineraried Many (2+1) GSs and Many (2+2+2+1) ESs for Saturday, itinerary we man. Not all of them look exciting, but who knows man. Will probably postpone party with the rubias till tomorrow night, out-wiped we man. And that was/is our thrilling Friday, see and si man.

In most cases, certainly. In the case of the incompetent management and out-of-control Vice-Consuls at the hellhole Guayaquil consulate when I and my contemporaries were trying to get our fiancees/wives here, there needed to be accountability. The consulates have already had the unlimited powers to grant or refuse visas. The accountability is internal, and I understand that it's gotten far better since we were all tormented at GYQ. I'm not sure that they always can, and this is for multiple reasons.

OUTRAGE: DA Bragg Drops Charges on Nearly All the Columbia Rioters Arrested No one is above the law — unless you are a friend of the Left in New York. While Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg digs up years-old misdemeanors and makes them into phantom felonies for his political opponents, he washes the slate clean for 31 of the 46 violent protestors arrested in the Columbia University riot. The protestors were charged with trespassing and burglary after they stormed Columbia University and barricaded themselves within the college. Even though they were found (and filmed) inside the building and removed by police from the building where they trespassed, Bragg dropped the charges due to "lack of evidence." The Murder of Rachel Morin
TBoneTX replied to yuna628's topic in Current Events and Hot Social Topics
Say Her Name, Joe: Trump Calls Rachel Morin's Mother [...] Victor Martinez-Hernandez raped and murdered Rachel as she was out on a jog along the Ma and Pa Trail. She was snatched off the path and dragged into the woods. Her body was found in a culvert. He was held without bail over the weekend as a fugitive from justice. He is charged with first-degree rape and murder. The 37-year-old was the mother of five. As he was being escorted back to Maryland, former President Trump called Rachel's mother, Patty, and her family to offer his condolences. She said she was "deeply touched" by his "honest compassion." VDH nails it, huh? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Anatomy of a Full Leftwing Meltdown The media is afire with warnings of the impending Trump "dictatorship". Celebrities, the Squad, and Biden administration grandees vie to conjure up the most nightmarish things that Trump might do to them. What drives their current mounting hysteria? Pursuant to the above is a very interesting article that makes sense. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Greenlash" is Here; Democrats take note. [...] "Well, that's Europe—couldn't happen here". But not only could it happen here it is happening here. Trump is running aggressively against Biden on exactly the same climate/energy issues and in exactly the same way as the right populists in Europe. And he's getting traction. Voters really don't want to be forced, directly or indirectly, to get an electric vehicle when they're perfectly happy with their internal combustion car. Voters really do care, above all, about cheap energy prices, not the provenance of that energy. And fundamentally most voters simply do not care that much about climate change as an issue relative to other issues like the cost-of-living. [...] https://www.liberalpatriot.com/p/greenlash-is-here

Thrilling Thursday report, see man: Oh what a day, man. Maid was supposed to show up an hour before noon, yeah right man. We killed ourself decluttering the place to enable space to work, suicide we man. We hid everything (a lot!) that maids would "reorganize," never see any of it again man. Maid + mother showed up half-of-half an hour after noon, we man. We were off-urinated but said nothing about it, grind-teething we man. Lunch was 2 ham sandwiches, indict them and ingest we man. At one point in early afternoon, the following all happened at once, see man: 1. Maid wanted to vacuum our office, usually forgets to man 2. A PayPal payment came in and the download instructions were faulty, call PayPal we man Many. A seller of a new miu-box wanted payment, wonderful but for the timing man Many. The pharmacy with Uncle T-B.'s eyedrops called for delivery directions, needed right then man Many. We had to call Uncle T-B. to see if he was awake to receive them, no answer man Many. We re-called pharmacy to tell them to leave stuff at door or knock long/loud, instruct we man Many. We fielded call from sleepy Uncle T-B., explain everything all over again we to senior he man man We had a headache after all this, ouch man. Maid finally finished, good job but dropped hint about getting a tip, NO WAY man. We've never abided "Spanish-people time" in comparison with en punto time, man. Right after maids left, Mini-B. called, call we man wee man man. "I'm coming over, si man -- I had a fight with Mom, see man, si man," said wee man man. "When, huh man?" asked we man of wee man man. "Right now, now man," said wee man to we man man. Nearly half an hour later, Mini-B. entered, si man. Ex-Mrs.-T-B. texted to say, "Keep him till half-past Many or overnight, si man." We had told her that we had an obligation in the evening, ignored we by ex-she man man. We decided to off-blow the obligation and have a Two Guys eve, si man. First, we siesta'd for a blessed hour, zzz we man. Din-din was Many Mexican taquitos from Costco, ingest Two Guys man. Movie night was Many more Everybody Hates Chris episodes, watch Two Guys man. Many (2+1) bowls of Costco popcorn were consumed, ingest Two Guys for next week's total man. Returned Mini-B. to an empty ex-Mrs.-T-B.-casa at Many p.m., where did ex-she man go man. Why her priorities supersede ours remains a mystery, si man. Lucky for her that our obligation wasn't with a rubia, different story then man. Spent much of evening dealing with an ES auction, won some lost some we man man. We won several sheets of older stamps (with cents values printed) at far under face value, financially savvy we man. We won a large Delsey suitcase for $Many ($2+1 + tax + premium), financially savvy we man. We will up-pick the winnings en route to 2 other ESs on Friday, logical drive man. The last ES is quite near an Aldi, shop for Two Guys week we man. We hope that no more emergencies or drama will occur, quite enough of that man. And we are ever-grateful to the intrepid Ontarklar for locating our newly ordered miu-box, si D ma'am man.

With stuff like this, you can never really be sure what's in it, or how (un)scrupulous the people who grew it and brought it to market are. -

VAWA, Part 27
TBoneTX replied to TBoneTX's topic in Effects of Major Family Changes on Immigration Benefits
(Quick -- while it's still Wednesday somewhere) Here is our Semiofficial Semiweekly VAWA-Thread Joke post: ============================================================= COMMENTS ABOUT ADULTHOOD Weekends are a scam. You spend one day exhausted and the other day anxious. "Are you OK?" Oh my god, no, but for the purposes of this conversation, yes, I'm fine. Remember when you were little and you'd fall on the trampoline and everyone would keep jumping so you couldn't get back up? That's exactly how this year has felt. How did I take all those classes when I was in school?! Now, if I have one meeting and get groceries the same day, I fall apart. The last time I went to Urgent Care, I checked off "excessive crying" on the symptom list. The nurse got really confused and told me that was meant for babies. Health insurance is cool! You get to pay a bunch of money each month for nothing, and then if something happens to you, you pay a bunch more. I hate when kids scream in public -- they don't have real problems. It should be ME screaming. One day, you wake up and everything is too sweet, too loud, and starts too late. Paid rent, so I'll be at home enjoying my purchase for the rest of the month. Adulthood is inheriting your parents' medical problems and finally realizing why they're kind of mean. Adulthood is repetitively saying, "...but after this week, things will finally slow down a little" to people, until you either retire or die. Being an adult is hard, but can you imagine having to do Math homework again? -
Can anyone speculate why? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Colorado's Legal Pot Boom Goes Bust Colorado's legal marijuana business is at least one toke over the line as a massive decrease in sales has led to store closures and layoffs across the state. Politico recently reported that Denver's 3D Cannabis dispensary, where Iraq War vet Sean Azzariti became the first person to legally buy recreational marijuana, has "temporarily closed." But the boards on the doors and windows and the dismal state of the parking lot make the closure appear much closer to permanent. I'd just love to be arrested by one. Will we need to know Spanish to be able to understand what they're arresting us for?
