Hi! I'm in China and tried to sign up multiple times on multiple devices and had the same issues, it always told me something like "the answer to the security question is wrong", the questions were like "what's the color of the sky" or "whats one plus five", so I'm pretty sure I wasn't wrong. After asking several other people in China, I noticed it was a common problem. So I had my fiance sign up in the US for me.
Now I know Chinese internet does funny things, but usually blocked sites are just blocked, this is different, I've never had a problem that's this specific. I could browse this site with no issue before having an account. Thought I should point this out, and maybe tech people here can take a look. Thanks!

No as you can not consummate the marriage (make (a marriage or relationship) complete by having sexual intercourse.)
I wonder how one could prove this Being in each other's presence doesn't necessary mean that, right? Pretty sure in the instructions they also say not to send graphic photos of intimate relations (which is a hilarious thing to specify)

Found a non-official translation on the official wechat account:
Effective from 0 a.m., 28 September 2020, foreign nationals holding valid Chinese residence permits for work, personal matters and reunion are allowed to enter China with no need for applying for new visas. If the above three categories of residence permits held by foreign nationals expired after 0 a.m., 28 March 2020, the holders may apply for relevant visas by presenting the expired residence permits and relevant materials to the Chinese embassies or consulates on the condition that the purpose of the holders’ visit to China remains unchanged. The above-mentioned personnel shall strictly abide by the Chinese regulations on epidemic prevention and control.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs just posted: http://new.fmprc.gov.cn/web/wjbxw_673019/t1817369.shtml
I’m so happy my fiancé can come and get married to me and we can be out of this K visa/travel ban limbo!!! So grateful that the company he worked for got him the resident permit haha! I’ll call the local department tomorrow to make sure, but I’m pretty that’s what it means: resident permits are valid again and people can enter starting from sep.28!!!

Stop spreading falsehoods if you're unaware of any of the details of the case. It's going to take, at most, 60 days and will most likely take far less.
That's good to hear! Keeping an eye on it

I wonder how soon we will hear more on this... fingers crossed

But that is totally out of point... The post is not about CRBA... It's about K1 visas and NIE processing😐
Well, NIE requires the child to be a citizen so a CRBA (or other citizenship documents) is inevitable.
It is great news for K1 applicants whose children already have their citizenship documents, but there’s plenty who don’t.

There is no male or female in immigration
Well the difference is if the applicant is the mother who gave birth abroad she needs CRBA first which takes time, while a father probably doesn’t need that if the kid is born in US. Same point previous posts have made.

A K1 would be a valid visa...
They don’t have a K1 since you know, they are applying for it...
For said expedition(if possible), the kid needs CRBA (if the applicant is female, which is more common), it doesn’t seem like much of an expedition then

Parents of unmarried US citizens under 21 were always exempted from the ban
They are exempted and but still need a valid visa to enter US, like a tourist visa. But if the parent is applying for K1 I assume they don’t.

A student visa applicant must not have immigrant intent. The i129f petition is strong evidence of immigrant intent that will be difficult to overcome
by that I mean a student visa in the country where they plan to have the interview, and not US

Alright then, seems I’ll just have to keep waiting 😅
Asking for a friend(for real): A student visa wouldn’t work either, right?

Hi, I’m Chinese and the address we put in the I129f is in China. Since China is on the travel ban list and interviews are put on hold, I’m considering moving to another country and having the interview there.
I’ve found a few posts here saying it’s possible to ask NVC or the new consulate for a transfer, what’s not quite mentioned is the status requirement when doing so. Do I have to be a legal resident in the new country, or is it ok to do it on a visitor visa? I’m willing to re-enter to stay as long as needed. Thanks for your help!

Could just say "meet each other in person afterwards" then... like how the K1 visa requirement is phrased. People in that situation might be confused as to how literally they should take it, and it feels safer to provide more instead of less...
