Shan181 got a reaction from R M in Is Supplement J needed for EB2-NIW applicants?
I ended up submitting the supplement J. I used current job information for the job offer part. Some fields were left blank. However, it accompanied a cover letter, stating it is not needed for my application. All went well.

This was the guidance I got when I called level 2 agents.

    Hope this helps! Good luck

I assume you mean March 2020, not 2019?   What visa category?

Yep, a reissue of an expired visa may only be done by the consulate.  There is nothing more you can do, until they respond to your inquiry.

My wife had her I-485 interview yesterday (adjusting from F-1 status). My I-130 was submitted online, and was approved last week. The immigration officer didn't have a copy of the I-130. The interview covered only the I-485, and not the I-130. They kept me in the waiting room while my wife was being interviewed. During the wait, I chatted with a guy whose had filed an I-129F whose wife had her I-485 interview at the same time (both of us were concerned that USCIS had separated us). The interview lasted 20 or 25 minutes. My wife answered a few of the scary eligibility questions as YES, but that didn't delay things much (we believed that there were no actual eligibility bars). A few marriage evidence documents were submitted (mostly bank statements), but no photos. They asked about health insurance, which seemed odd since the Trump public charge rule was demolished two weeks ago (Maybe they wondered why my wife and I have separate health insurance plans?). The officer verbally gave an approval, but on paper was "further review needed". The online status was approved, within an hour after the interview, and now we are waiting for the status to update to show "card in production".

PS: I'm never sure which thread to post in, but this one seems as good as any.

Once the case approved this is the sequence of status updates you will see
    1. New card is being Produced
    2. Case was approved
    3. Card was mailed to me
    4. Card was picked up by the united states postal service
    5. Card was delivered to me by the post office

Normally, case should go through these status changes every consecutive day, expect for 4th and 5th steps. You should get your card within a week. Good luck with your new job!

My case is not "finished" - Yes, my husband has his EAD and AP - I recognize how lucky we are to have that.  We are still waiting for an interview, just like others - I see many people who filed after us who were approved - It's frustrating - But I can also congratulate or be happy for them, even though we are still waiting.  I guess you were never taught the old adage of "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all".  I don't have an issue with your frustrations - Post about them, get them out - I have an issue with your negativity EVERY time someone has good news.  It's nothing to do with a level of "helpfulness" - it's called common decency.

I understand your frustration with the process - But do you honestly think that these posts EVERY time someone else gets positive news are helpful?  There are many waiting longer than you.

You can ask from tier 1 officer where your case is? If is transferred, where? When? They will let you know.

My husband and I had our interview on January 11. Finally yesterday Jan. 13 the case's online status changed to: 'Card being produced'
We are beyond ecstatic, as it was a fortunately a very speedy process for us (7 months!)
I wish everyone a speedy process as well!

My EAD expedite request got approved TODAY!! Insanely fast considering I requested it 6 days ago and literally faxed my job offer yesterday in the afternoon. USCIS are working hard!
  22. Thanks
Shan181 reacted to RG3000 in June 2020 AOS Filers
No, I don't know which avenue was the effective one.  I assume it was my fax, because it was only 2 business days between when the Congressman sent his request and the date of the decision.
(I doubt USCIS would act that fast for anyone.)

    Sorry I meant tier 1.

I didn't provide any further evidence (nor did USCIS ask for evidence for the AP)
In my cover letter I mentioned both EAD and AP. So, even though the email from USCIS requested evidence for EAD, in my letter I said I was requesting expediting of both.

  23. Thanks

I read that others had done the same .. so I did too. Figured it can only increase chance of approval.

I expedited by talking to L1 rep
