Then just go there I think. There were no walk-ins possible when I went, maybe that has changed by now.
No, no SSN since April 5th, the Case Tracker says "Case Under Review"

    Congratulations!
I received my green card on April 4th and had an appointment at the local ssa office to apply for my SSN the day after. (Our I-485 version was also the older one without the ssn option and I never got my EAD) I'm waiting for a case update ever since, it's been only 2 weeks now but still a little frustrating. Go to your local ssa office and apply for a ssn as soon as possible! I brought all sorts of documents to the appointment just in case, they didn't need all of them (passport, green card, birth certificate, marriage license, the application form itself)

We had our GC interview at the Chicago office on Thursday last week. We attended with our attorney. Interview was less than 30 mins. Asked the typical questions of how we met, had we met each others families etc. He did not approve on the day because he said he needed to review some of the documents. Logged into USCIS account on Friday morning and the status had been updated to case approved. So happy the wait is over. Once the card is received does anyone know the steps for applying for your social security? Our attorney advised us the option was not on our version of the form to pre apply.

I finally got my "an interview was scheduled" notice but the online account did not show the actual letter. I went ahead and talked to a live agent via EMMA and he gave me the actual date, it's gonna be on March 24th. 👏

    Verbal approval -- We passed!
IO said 3-6 weeks for greencard to arrive in the mail, though.

Why are you so gatekeep-y about this thread lmao. There's plenty straight AOS peeps (including myself) lurking and occasionally posting in both. Way to alienate someone who was just asking a question.

Aware its mainly for K1 this is also an AOS forum. I adjusted status once I was in the US, when I was visiting my husband and decided to stay. Hence no medical on entry.
OK thanks nothing to be excited about then

I have stopped looking at USCIS processing times as a guide because they are wildly inaccurate. I have a friend in FL where they got an interview within 10 weeks and others have waited nearly 2 years. We have an immigration lawyer handling our case in Chicago and he said EAD and AP he has never seen take longer than 7 months currently. But GC interviews are taking over a year. At least you'll be able to work and travel while you wait for GC.

Yes under case history or case status. FYI my husband wrote to senator and congressman. Keep you posted if it helps!

I think its very unpredictable (as per the entire USCIS system) some people have waited 10 weeks post biometric and others have waited 7 months. To be honest I haven't seen many that took 9 months, but it does happen. I had my biometrics a few days earlier than you and had an RFE the following week for a clearer copy of my birth certificate. Does it say USCIS is actively reviewing your case on your login page on the website? My lawyer advised 6 months but to not make plans on that deadline. Write to a senator/ congresswomen if you are getting anxious.

I spoke to someone in the height of covid (June last year) and got her EAD 10 weeks after biometrics. However I think long term its just got worse.

I have seen this argument and frankly, it is tiring. You do realize that just because it is LAW doesn't mean it is word of GOD, and ineffective laws can actually be changed? Being gay was a crime not so long ago. I can think of a million ways the law you mentioned can be made better. For one, just like interviews are waived for tourist visas on a case by case basis, so can be done for immigrant visas. If someone is 40, has been married for 10 years, has no crime record, has travelled to U.S. numerous times etc. - clearly is not a security risk and their interview can be waived rather than having them interview as well and hog up the interview queue. I will not even comment on the "COnSULar OFFiceRS Can REad ThE BoDY LangAUgE" - it has very high rate of false positives - EXTREMELY HIGH. If it weren't for the fact that U.S. immigration laws provide exceptional degree of freedom to executive branch, such a practice would be barred immediately in a domestic context, even for non-citizens, and there is tonnes of precedent for this. Another food for thought for you - why doesn't U.S. release consular notes if U.S. consular officers are so flawless - Canada for example does this. Unless it is matter of national security, why such secrecy? Consular officer thought there was huge age difference and that was a red flag? Sure let the U.S. citizen obtain consular notes, so they can mitigate/address that concern. But sdly too many people have drunk the kool-aid that government has thought everything through and can do no wrong and is only trying to protect us.
The legal immigration system, specially the family-based immigration is in dire need of reform and COVID has made the systemic problems even worse.

We have been waiting since Feb 25th, we got Nebraska. Our case went outside of processing two weeks ago, finally got a call back from tier 2 officer. He said our case was transferred in April to California. We asked why we had not received transfer notice or any update and they said its due to staffing issues and shortages. We have already been waiting for 10 months for our NA02 and not have the possibility of waiting another 8.5 months, I cannot take much more of this. They told us our case had not been actively reviewed yet, just transferred. So no one has even looked at it! We are perfect model citizens. No criminal records, never lived in other countries, no medical issues, both have great education and salaries. It makes no sense to me!! I try to compare but its so heartbreaking to see people months behind you get NA02 or embassy appointments within 6 months. Has anyone had success with contacting a senator for help? Any advice appreciated.

I am thinking to leave the UK and enter on ESTA and stay the legal 90 days just so we can be together. Does anyone know if this would affect my i130? I would obviously be quitting my job. Does it look bad if you are unemployed? Is filing for AOS an option? Any advice appreciated.

They did not reinstate. I had to apply for a new one and there was no guarantee, its not because 'I cried at them' its because I was exempt from the ban and there was no reason to refuse travel

Same. Pretty much same situation. I think me trying to check in online caused some sort of drama with ESTA. But i got it sorted.

USCIS live chat and ask. No you cannot request transfers, it how they manage the workload. Processing times can also change weekly.

I tried to check in online with AA the night before my flight, within minutes my ESTA got revoked. I called CBP and then put me through to the department that deals with ESTA's. I told them I was married to US citizen. I had my marriage certificate, copy of husbands passport and birth certificate plus my i130 receipt. He kept me on the line and said apply for another esta now while I'm on the line and he said all he could do was push it for a 72 hour deadline (my flight was in 10 hours) within 20 mins I have the approval. Same situation as the lady above at the airport in Amsterdam I got asked the same questions but was fine. I stayed for 6 weeks. I also had copy of my lease and work contract to show I had tied to the UK. Please just go to the airport prepared, don't check in online and make sure your ESTA is not revoked.
See my reply below you'll be fine

Because the passport, the marriage certificate and the i130 all have dates within the last 6 months. The likelihood of someone being dead or divorced is extreme. I also had to provide address and his contact details of where he was and they called him when I was in the air.
