  1. When was that? Could be due to that diversity lottery interviews, I guess
  2. No backlog added, even due to Thanksgiving this week, not bad
  3. You're right, totally forgot that embassy in Minsk was transferring cases to Warsaw for a while now, I didn't know about Kaliningrad, but I guess it seems to be logical, looking by the distance. I'm wondering what are the most prioritized categories for visa scheduling. You say that IR2 falls under the same category as IR1, but I don't know about CR1. When I check visa issuance reports, I see that there are less CR1 visas issued, compared to IR1, but that also could be due to lower number of such cases. Until 26th of June next year, we are falling under CR1 category, so if we'll get the interview close to that date, then we'll probably wait a little longer to not have to deal with Remove of Conditions stuff and just wait for naturalization
  4. Yeah, that could be it, actually. Fingers crossed they'll return to that 1-1.5 month backlog they used to have some time ago. Warsaw embassy used to be very quick in terms of scheduling, it all got complicated when they started taking people from other embassies, but I guess that Ukrainians are taken by Frankfurt, so the embassy is left with people from Poland, Belarus and Russia.
  5. Yeah, I should get decision from NVC in about 4 weeks, so probably you'll get the IL earlier and I'll know when to expect mine For some time I thought that Warsaw embassy schedules interviews faster for Polish citizens, as it is the case at Frankfurt, where Ukrainians come before Germans. 2 months wouldn't be that bad actually, when I've talked to the consular officers from Warsaw 2 months ago, they said the current wait time is 6-8 months. When you say 2 months you mean that you've seen some people going from DQ to the interview in that time?
  6. Any recent IL for interview at Warsaw Embassy? They supposedly have a big backlog, at least that's what I've heard two months ago when I talked with consular officers during the event at Hard Rock Cafe, but I'm wondering how it's actually going on right now, how many months after being DQ to having an interview for CR1/IR1 visa?
  7. Are you sure it's 12th October for you? I thought that they go day by day, so if 14th was processed, then 12th should be too
  8. Anyone knows if there were any DQs or RFEs on Friday? I'm wondering how much backlog will NVC get, due to Thanksgiving and probably some people taking day off on Friday.
  9. Sorry to hear that 😢. Was it the first RFE? I'm curious what was it for, if you don't mind sharing?
  10. It shouldn't be a part of the tax package, but rather sent by an entity he works for as a self employed person. 1099 is like W-2, which you get from the employer at some point in the year and it's not related to tax package. If this self employment is not registered in any way and is a literal side job, then I would not include it, because documenting it without 1099 could be problematic. If he started this self-employment this year, then you don't need to upload 1099 but have the explanation for not uploading one, plus some proof of income from this self-employment from this year. I'm not completely sure about that part, so it would be nice to have someone more experienced contribute to this topic, maybe @pushbrk?
  11. Apart from that, remember to upload proof of US domicile or proof of intent to reestablish one, it's very important. If I were you, I'd upload a proof of domicile for joint-sponsor as well, even if he lives in the US, just in case. For that, I re-used some paystubs and current driving license but paystubs will do, imo.
  12. For 24 a - insert the number from the most recent(2021) annual tax return, form 1040, line 9 For 24 b - look at the same number but on return from 2020 For 24 c - as above, 2019 I uploaded documents only from the last year, as uploading full three years is not required, you only have to enter numbers from those years.
  13. It seems that the actual reviewing time is 45 days, not 48 as it was stated during the Monday's time frame update.
  14. I can tell you what I did since I had exact same situation as you(joint sponsor both employed and self-employed). For calculating total income I used pay stubs to get the employment income($18000 yearned as of beginning of September, so I made it $24000k annually). As for self-employment the income you need to use is the one from Schedule C line 31. So you use the last year income for self-employment and current year's income for employment. I think you need to include self-employment as it will be stated on your joint sponsor's tax return/transcript, so if you omit it, then you risk RFE for not adding 1099 to your AOS package.
  15. Keep in mind that you have 6 months to enter the US after the visa is issued. Is that much time not enough in your case?
  16. Submitted all documents a moment ago, so maybe I'll make it before the end of the year
  17. Actually, where did you get that, I've been doing quite a research before I submitted my wife's civil documents, but never encountered an RFE on this forum that would say the documents do not have required translations, even though they are in the language of the consulate. As far as I know, the NVC is supposed to use templates of the documents to check if they are the required ones, thus that's how they can work on them without translation. I hope someone more experienced can join the discussion on that
  18. Theoretically you shouldn't be obligated to upload either W2 or 1099 if you use tax transcript, but if you live outside the US and upload tax return for the last year, it's better to write an explanation that you don't have them since you were working overseas.
  19. Weird, thought you don't need to upload W2 if you have transcript, only if you choose to use tax return
  20. Yeah, they went down 4 days in a week, I really hope they will make it to more or less 30 days like it was for some time last year
  21. A little update from me, since I have a list of proofs of intent to reestablish domicile that I'm going to send tomorrow and wondered if someone could take a look at what I managed to get and give some thoughts if it's passable for probably a non-strict domicile embassy - A document from my current job, where the company acknowledges my plans of moving to the US and states that they hope to employ me at their Michigan branch in event of proper project showing up for me - A bank account at Chase, with $7000 bank transfers plus Chase credit card to start building credit score, I additionally got myself a Discover secured card for the same purpose - Renewed my State ID - Registered to vote in State and Federal elections That's all I have for now. I was also thinking about picking one realtor at Zillow and writing an email to him to show an intent to establish a residency, but I'm wondering if it's not an overkill
  22. It's showing Paid again, I wonder for how long
  23. I'll be probably calling my embassy next week to let them know it's blocking me from submitting my documents, maybe they'll be able to reach NVC faster than we are through public inquiry
