It is super unfair since your husband submitted transcripts. But you have to submit what they asked for and yes clock will restart because you go back in line. (Currently it takes about two month to review documents) Back in time it might have been reasonable to argue with them over the public inquiry form and defend your position but response for public inquiry is also two
month so I would not go that route and submit the W2s or 1099s whichever is available to you. 

Yes, this is an RFE. He might try to submit it quick but that rarely translates to a quicker response time. More than likely you will need to wait for another 50-60 days at the current rate of NVC processing.

There is no chance they will look at it today. Some people say it takes another 2 months for them to review, but I have seen some people say within a few days or couple weeks. Good Luck!

1. If you get an RFE, it won’t say RFE. It will say things like Case FE Review Note or something.
 
2. If your email states that you are DQ then you don’t need to worry about it. Just make sure you upload W2/1099 if you have any after you get the IL. Does your note say consular officer will make a decision?

I've seen people successfully self-certify, but for adjustment of status in the US. I think / feel like embassies have a different burden of proof.
For the US embassy in London, on the website they ask for an "official" translation, so I just went and used an online service that does documents for USCIS.
I'm still at NVC stage, hopefully they'll accept it without an issue.

1) As far as I'm aware, and from what I've seen online, most embassies do not require notarization of translations, just a certification of the translator. See here:
Of course it could be more strict for some embassies, not sure about the one in Prague.
 
2) Country of residence: 2 year validity. Other countries don't expire unless you return there:

1. general thumb i always bring english translation that's notarized for all document thats not in english for consulate purposes ( im not from CZ by the way)
2. usually it's valid for 6 months, but other people can comment on this matter.

Guys! We got approved !!!! I cant believe it, I lost all hope when I saw how few cases have been getting approved since the beginning of the month and that they skipped august and moved onto september/october, but now I opened the case tracker and there was our 2nd active review. My husband just woke up and confirmed that the approval letter was there!
My timeline is updated, but ill pu it here as well:

Nebraska transfered to Vermont
AR 1 Jan 24
AR2/ NOA2 July 23 (which is Saturday which I find odd)

Wishing us august filers some type of luck for this week with some approvals 

I believe they move the processing times up so you can’t inquire until they have caught up so that when you get your approval you will get it before it reaches outside normal processing times 

I’m waiting 316 days as of today for my approval. Really trying to keep the faith and hope because it is a daily struggle. Really hoping to get my approval this month

I low key hope we get approved today as it's been 342 days already and it's my birthday today 😅 but I doubt anything will change 😕 I gotta say it's quite frustrating when the only approvals I see lately, are couples who married this year, applied in the spring and are already somehow approved and shceduled for an interview ... obviously great for them, but aren't USCIS claimimg they're approving it in chronological order? This makes no sense...
Im at Vermont and it seems like most August filers are approved by now, they already moved onto September, but left plenty of people behind too (from as far back as May 21...).And now they all seem to be taking a break after July 4th .... 🙃

Yea I think my approval will be coming soon. I’m at California service center and just hit a little over 10 months. So really really hoping that we get our approval at the latest by end of next month because that will make it one year since filing for us

It’s crazy i haven’t seen any august approvals yet and it’s already July 11th🥺🥺

Take your mind off for now and keep checking your mail weekly for updates.
 
I've long taken my mind off and focus on my work and activities that gives me peace of mind.
 
It's really bad spouses have to wait years before reuniting with their love ones. Worst when they have no child in between the waiting period and they are growing older each year.
 
Long distance relationship is not worth it. If not for love, I personally would have given up and moved on.
