First you need to Get a Grip on your anxiety/stress and frazzled nerves as your state of mind will negatively impact your spouse and put you/her at a disadvantage .

You have done an excellent job preparing/ researching/posting and even consulting an attorney.

If you and your wife have have physically shared bed and bread since getting married, you CANNOT FAIL a Stokes Interview ..even if they ask who showers first in the morning.
Here are random web list of Stokes questions.https://interviewquestions.guru/stokes-interview-questions/

I will assume she was already asked questions and provided satisfactory responses to party membership ( if any) considering she is from China..( at K-1 interview and 1st AOS).

Thank you so much. What you said is so true. I need to control my anxiety, although it is very hard to do.
We live together, love each other, and share everything together. At the first AOS interview, the officer asked me questions first and the ask my spouse the same questions through interpreter. It's almost like ask us questions separately since my spouse doesn't understand English. We did fine. Then the officer asked all those questions in the I485, including the party member question. The answer is No. We are in a real marriage and were well prepared for the first interview. The fact we still need a second interview makes me wondered what the interviewing officer wants and how well prepared is enough. It makes me struggle on every detail and causes more anxiety.

    there's couple ways :
    1. ombudsman
    2. ask help from local congressperson
    3. find the name of USCIS director in that local FO ( google) and u can either write letter, address to the USCIS office director and attached your receipt letter ( i-485) or if you can get info pass appointment and bring the letter on hand.

my friend on the same boat with you, but worst. interview in November 2018, everything went well....and dead silence. i told him to sue USCIS but he refused. he said " its ok, i will just wait, i lost hope". he refused to do anything except pay his lawyer $500 to file ombudsman. he doesnt want to do anything by himself. suddenly May 2022, he got RFE for additional evidence, because it's been almost 4 years since the interview conducted and he need to submit his new medical. he just sent it early July 2022 and no news until now.

I am Sorry that you are having this experience. this is unacceptable by USCIS and you have the right to be frustrated. you should contact your local congressperson and also report this to an ombudsman. in addition try to call and reach a tier 2 customer service. they are actual officers that can access you case and check on the hold up. if none of the above yield a result, you can file a WOM to force the USCIS to make a decision. in a lot of cases where the hold up is just the USCIS incompetence the result of WOM has been reported to be positive.

My situation was same as you and I didn’t entered any unemployment benefit or interests/dividends as I don’t know if they are qualified as “income” so I included assets only. USCIS only accept income or asset for i864 but you cannot use both. If you include asset in i864 rmb to include 12-months as USCIS will count 12-month average

I don’t think if there is any requirement for the forms and docs to be single or doubled sided but I rmb I use double sided for forms and docs. I think it’s just up to you

Asset more than 3x 125% of poverty guideline, but I would say more is better

    Hi,

I submitted the petition on May and was facing the same situation as you.

I suggest it’s better to prepare 12 months bank and stock account statement as 6-months may cause rfe.

Besides, 3x 125% of annual income according to poverty guideline should be sufficient for marriage based green card applicants, but of course more is better.

In your case, nothing because there is no name change taking place.
In normal cases, the initial card applied for within 90 days comes in the maiden name matching I94 as explained. EAD one comes in married name as that's your new immigration record name after EAD approval.
Automatic process. You apply, you get.

No. One in a million chance (that's hyperbole).
Why because your SSA record contains your parents' names to identify you from any other Joe Blow.

Depends on whether you get approved for EAD or GC first.
EAD first: that card will have restrictions on it so after you get your GC you'll have to request an unrestricted card.
    GC first, you won't.

    Yes.

    Separate but parallel processes.
    See above.

    Maybe, but maybe not.
They will stop processing a K1 SSN on Day 76.
    Yes
Nothing. If you get one before EAD or GC, they will just send a replacement one after EAD or GC approval.
Keep in mind that if you are going to apply for AOS/EAD in your married name, you'll need a replacement SSN card anyways as your SSN that will be applied for within the 90 day period is applied for in your MAIDEN name.

D means you were given a waiver.
You do not need to do anything except submit a photocopy of your complete (yes it's complete as it's marked complete) DS3025 with I485.

You were “complete for AOS” on the date of your medical exam according to the requirements valid on that date. Since you were signed off as complete by your panel physician, you are done despite new rules put in place at a later date.

If you went to a Civil Surgeon for an I-693 now, you would have to meet today’s requirements (Covid) and it would supersede your previous report, so go with what you have which is valid.
