Npime got a reaction from kayden123 in APRIL 2020 AOS FILERS
For DFW people, someone with PD April 2020 also just posted a comment in the lawfully app about having his interview scheduled for May 21.
I am PD April 24, 2020 still waiting.

Yes, we also figured that they must be working through a larger backlog in the DFW area! Glad you at least have your EAD/AP, though. Husband’s been able to use it to finally get his SSN, apply for a job, and apply for a DL (although the backlog for that here is crazy too and the earliest DMV appointment he could secure was in March!) Still keeping our fingers crossed for movement on all of our AOS applications!

Dallas here, nothing yet. Got my EAD/AP since August. I went to the chat with one agent 2 weeks ago and told me the case was still in the National Benefits Center but that it was ready to schedule just waiting on the regional office. My assumption is the backlog is so large they haven't schedule any people from early 2020 in the DFW. Have not checked on the other forums lately to see if anyone from DFW has been scheduled as well.

I am in the same situation. Submitted my aos package on December 31,2018.
Interview was scheduled on November 9,2020
I have celebrated my 2nd anniversary in marriage. I hope, when approved for green card, i get a 10 years green card.

Hello April filler with EAD/AP card in hand I have a question...
If when the AOS was filled we had under 2 years married, but by the time the AOS interview gets to be scheduled we are over the 2 years of marriage.(NO AOS scheduled yet) Does this means no conditional GC for 2 years?
Thanks!

In that case, they should issue a regular 10-year GC. I say "should" because they sometimes make mistakes. If the wrong card is issued, you will have to submit an I-90 to correct it. Reason (D) is free to file; "My existing card has incorrect data because of Department of Homeland Security error." Their error would be giving you 2-year GC when you are not subject to INA 216.

It should take less than 7 days, get a USPS account so you get all the updates for the mail delivery. Mine was "delivered" on friday but nothing showed up so you can imagine my weekend was fun until I got on the phone with the local agency to tell me they mail man still had it with him... also I thought based on the Aug - 2020 lawsuit anyone who gets EAD approved should get it before 8 days plus you can use the notice as the work permit now.

Today I received a text message about a USPS package coming in Saturday and then I got an update:
I-765 Card was mailed to me 9/23
How does one usually confirms the tracking number for this? Just want to make sure this is not another package
I see some of the April applicants are getting interviews for AOS for early October, specially the ones with bio-metrics around the first half of August! hopefully we can get more AOS interviews scheduled!

Case just got update to: "CASE IS READY TO BE SCHEDULED FOR AN INTERVIEW"
Had biometrics done last Friday
NOA1: APRIL 24, 2020
Case updated to fingerprints were taken yesterday, no change on EAD or AP. Does this mean they are approved? And how long is taking now to get the interview scheduled?
Thanks!
Also, this means RFE is out of the question now?

No need to worry. There is no biometrics for I-131 . If u have done your biometrics for I-765 its enough. I have my 5 friends and family. They didn’t get any biometrics appointment for I-131 . They were approved for 765 and i-131 as they are now a combo card. So guys just relax . You don’t need to do separate biometrics for i-131

Only the person having the fingerprints/photo taken needs to be present.

WOW thats awesome I was going to mention, I wonder if the I-485s would be a lot quicker since usually right now we would be receiving them already. USCIS was still working on cases just not biometrics because it was in person. Could be they have worked on cases already and just waiting for the BioMetrics too release cards. Wishful thinking but you never know.

Npime got a reaction from Linnn in Form i-944
I am in the same boat as a lot in people in here with the new I-944, I got lucky enough to figure two days ago I needed the I-944. I have most of my certificates, diplomas etc always digital so this helps a lot with this last minute situations.
This are my two cents in the High School equivalence certificates dilemma, if you have a higher education US valid certification logic says you made it through high school, right? so I am not adding any high school diploma translations or certificates just the copy of the foreign original one, I have that for the masters and undergrad.
Do not overthink the instructions just stick to them. Also to the I-944 I saw the comments about the 12 months of bank statements this is only if you declare as an asset any type of checking account or savings account. "For checking and savings accounts, you must provide account statements from the bank(s) covering at least 12 months prior to filing the application. You can also provide any documentation from the household members’ assets."
This is obviously targeting people that inflate their checking accounts somehow for this process, so if you are over the 125% and have any other assets save yourself and the USCIS some time.
Planning on filling early next week.
