No one has posted on this topic for a long time, but I just wanted to bring it back up. My Fiance, after waiting for nearly 2 years like everyone else, is going through the 8 week culture test. We just made it into week 4 of the waiting. She has no symptoms, and they told her that her x-ray was flagged because of a very small blurry spot at the top of her right breast. When they showed her the X-ray, she could not even see it. However, it is what it is. I am now going their on April 1st and will be there the week she gets gets her immunization and hopefully has her interview. It would be awesome if everything goes smooth that first week of April and I can bring her back with me. Maybe it is just a fantasy, but a guy has to dream.

Well, turns out we will not have to worry about this for a couple of months because of the infamous Sputum test. She has to go through the 8 to 9 week process before we can reschedule our interview. It is very hard to face another 8 week of waiting after being in this process for 2 years, but after reading many post, there is nothing we can do. We will just bear it, and keep pushing forward.

NSO should still be accepted. I used NSO copies of my wife's BC and our MC last year for our I-130/I-485 submission.
The info on the certs was certified by NSO at the time and that hasn't changed.
The city I was born in was annexed decades ago and the records are now maintained by the state. My original BC is fine.
Thank you. My Fiancé was actually able to schedule an appointment at the local office near the embassy and obtain a copy of her birth certificate with the PSA stamp on it It was much easier for her to get than we had anticipated. Thanks for the suggestions on the multiple copies. Medical today, Interview in 7 days. Everything is so close now, and happening so fast.

Hello Everyone,
My Fiancé has her interview on February 3rd, and she is very stressed about her original birth certificate. Her Birth certificate has the stamp of the old NSO name on it. NSO has changed it's name to PSA and she is certain her visa will be refused because of this stamp. Has anyone else had a problem with this, or heard of this?

Thank you. Yeah, this has been a very long Journey. We heard a rumor that they are picking up speed, so we're crossing our fingers. But we will be patient. We will probably just pick them up in Duma.
Question for you though.
Did they tell your fiancé she was approved at the embassy?

My Fiancé and I are scheduling her interview for early February, and we are confused about something. It says we can pick it up at a MOA branch, one of the locations is free. However, I can not see that location in the menu. She will be staying in Manila for an extra few days to make sure she has time to get the paperwork back. Any suggestions or help her Visa Journey friends?

Mine to. Same letter, and we are overjoyed with excitement.

Good News. After 8 months our NVC stats changed from AT NVC to READY. Honestly, sometimes I didn't think it would ever happen. I am excited that we are a little closer now. I am praying that the Embassy starts scheduling interviews soon.
Good luck to all those still waiting for this step to happen.

I know this was unexpected, but it gives me hope that maybe it will happen for all of us soon. I received my NOA 2 but as in many cases it has not been sent to the embassy in Manila yet. I know they are extending dates, but it still makes me nervous. I hope they send it to the embassy soon and we can move on with this process.

RFE was sent on the 30th. I was hoping it would come in Email, but I am guessing I have to wait for the paper copy. On the case status site it says that they sent it so, I am hoping it arrives today.
Do they normally send them in the email also? I have not seen an email from them at all. I also did not receive a text message. However, I received both when they did my NOA1.
We are very excited that there was any movement at all on our application. I will post again when I know what the reason for the RFI is so you can add it to the master list.

Today we will be waiting for 170 days. We are trying super hard to remain positive, but of course, with Covid 19 it is difficult to do so. I filed in the Texas Service Center, and I am wondering if anyone knows if that service center is even open at this time? I notice all the approvals seem to be coming out of Chicago and California.
Is anyone else who filed in texas pushing 200 plus days yet? Because it looks like that is where we are headed.
I-129F - NOA 1 on January 10th. No news since then.
Thanks for all you who post.. It really helps with the Hope on my end.

Day 153. I know it sounds crazy, but I check status 10 times a day. Even though I know it wont change. I am a little worried about the Embassy in the Philippines. Travel is very restricted in the Philippines right now, so I hope by the time we finally get everything over there it has opened back up a little. Crossing my fingers.

I am new to the forum and want to make sure I post things in the right place. My fiance and I received our NOA1 on January 10th 2020. We, of course are trying to be patient for our NOA2. Is there a place in the forum where people post their timelines, or is this it?
Thanks,
Frog.
Just back to California after 2 weeks in the Philippines. Open to clarify questions others might have.

Just to verify. I am going on April 1st. I will need travel insurance that states Covid is covered, my covid vaccination record, and a negative Covid PCR test? I am am assuming I will need to show all of these at the immigration booth when I arrive in manila.
