Are you fine then. It is the people waiting for EAD/AP that are screwed by this.

It definitely will. Prepare to wait months for a response of even for it to go through proper channels.
Just when I was thinking soon this long wait will be over as processing times have picked up significantly.
This is really distressing to hear. I feel bad for those 1000 people that have lost their jobs, but this is a service we have already paid for!

So @beefmaster I submitted and requested expedition on Friday and today I got the approval ( so a week ). I’ll keep you updated on how long it takes them to Change status.

I ended up copying it again, printing the page from travel.gov, from the link which was part of the RFE for my country on the particulars they should expect and wrote a cover letter explaining it all. Even though we had easy to use tabs for each submission and evidence in our original submission, they still miss these things.
I am actually tempted to apply for a job there one day. I will see if my employer will let me take a sabbatical for a year just so I can see how this place works from the inside. It must be complete chaos.

I got an RFIE for our marriage certificate too. SO frustrating given that it was 100% included in the filing.

everything is moving so quickly and I don’t know what to do. The job wants/needs this info ASAP. Eek.

My expedite was approved 6 days ago and now nothing. Does anyone know if this is normal?
Very stressful as I am going to lose our only family income in 2 weeks if I do not receive my new EAD.
I thought the expedite approval was the end of all this stress. But I guess USCIS can always serve up more

It can take a little longer. My expedite request was approved yesterday afternoon and nothing so far!

Can you provide detail on your expedite process timeline?
I ask because I am stuck on "Expedite Request Approved" since May 14
