Yes his wife have to fill the I-864a, all cases with a joint tax filing spouse, must complete the I-864a.

I do understand how you feel. It is hard but we have to be patient and pray God to protect our loved ones while waiting because we can not change anything about it.

That could be a blessing because California wait for approval is longer than Texas. I was with Texas, did send my I30 on 06/23/19, get approved on 12/30/19.

I did not submit my DS5540 Public Charge Questionnaire but it was advised by my Lawyer to fill this out and bring it to the interview.

I'm still waiting. Did the USCIS website ever updated that notification? I wonder if you just got the letter with the approval or if they ever update notification when you enter your case number.

P.D. this waiting time just sucks.

Call NVC, my friend was approved but did  not find out until She talked to NVC and found out she did get approved a month prior.

Hey everyone!!

I have a question.  I have not filed taxes for 2018 but did for the previous years. I am not working currently so my question is do I have to fill out form I-864 or can I just use the documents of my loint sponsor since i will not be able to provide a work letter myself.
