Hello,
I've received the I-797 approval notice for my I-130 (F2A), with notice date of November 14th, 2019, we are now waiting for the NVC e-mail to continue processing. My I-130 was processed in California. What's the expected timeline to receive email with instructions from NVC? My lawyer said they already sent an inquiry since more than 30days have passed and we are waiting to hear back from that. Is there anything else we can do in the mean time? E-mail/call?
Thanks in advance,
A*
You can call them to find out if they have received your file. I did call yesterday for a friend, and i was able to get the case number. The man that I spoke with was very nice, and answered all my questions. You have to patient because there is long wait before you can speak to someone. Good luck!

You had the same update message from this week as well? Interesting!
Absolutely!! Fingers crossed! 💪💪
You know I was kind of worried when i heard a case filed on the same date as my case was approved on 1/1/20. So i know what you are going thru. Do not be discouraged and do not think the worse; Let's continue the journey. Keep me posted!!!

Congratulations, that's amazing!! I filed just one day before you on the 15th and got my NOA1 on the 18th! I just went to check my status and they DID update my status yesterday, but it just says the same thing as the last update in November:
January 7, 2020
In Process
Your benefit request has been accepted and is under review.
Hopefully they aren't about to send me an RFE! This waiting game is no fun! But I am happy to know that more July people are getting approved!
Let's be positive ! You should get your approval soon, hopefully by next week if not sooner.

Welcome! Our application was sent to NVC in October and they just got to us. So 60-90 days seems to be appropriate right now.
.Thanks for your reply. Do you mean NVC just started the process or you got a scheduled interview at the consulate?

Thanks for responding, please keep me posted and good luck!

Hi guys
I am glad i found this forum. I am a US citizen and applied for my step-kids. I-30 approved yesterday. Do you have any idea how long it will take for the visa. They are from Haiti.
Thanks

I did call NVC yesterday and was told they were still having problem with the new pilot system. The guy i spoke said " it was supposed to make things move faster and that is not happening" Let's hope they fix it soon.
