Babu Frik reacted to MrHanky in Case Complete to Interview February 2018
I checked out status while at the airport today and it said last updated today, so I'm wondering if that's with the tracking info that was added.
It was too late to call so I'll try tomorrow.
I've seen on average its about 3 days later but since they had computer system problems recently it could take longer.

duh, they say this themselves, and its stated on their website, that's the first place you should have checked.
unless you don't mind someone else getting your mail from them that you might need in the future.

So should we have received info on paying the green card fee when the interview was approved?
We don't have anything regarding that and when I checked the USCIS site it mentions we should have received numbers that we need to use to pay it.
Is it possible this comes with the visa package?

Babu Frik reacted to top_secret in I-130 Online Filers
I actually think it is meaningless what service center my case is at because I can find plenty of examples of cases that spent 3 months at Nebraska, got transferred to California and approved in a week. Or were apparently sitting in Nebraska for 18 months but when someone called to check they find it had been transferred to California without notice 17 months ago. It seems it is really only useful information if a case starts dragging on longer than it seems like it should.
But just for the sake of debate. If I went strictly by the language of the notices available to me. I have a mailed Receipt Notice listing the Texas Service Center. I have an online case status that says Nebraska Service Center. Both are dated March 9. However, going strictly by the grammar of the online case status. It says "we......mailed you a receipt notice" which is past tense, indicating that the mailing of the receipt notice happened before the time of the online case status. Then is says "It is being processed at our Nebraska Service Center location" which is present tense. Indicating that it is being processed at the Nebraska Service Center at the time of the online case status, which is a time that is later than when the online receipt was mailed. So, since there is a disparity between the online case status and the receipt notice as to where the case is being processed, the grammar of the online case status says that it is the more current and up to date of the two. Additionally, it says online "Current as of today at 11:07 a.m."
Either that or it is all just random.

put that notice date in your timeline and you'll get an estimate, roughly it could be a year.

Totally normal, I would say the majority haven't lived together, only visits/vacations together.

Babu Frik got a reaction from Morty in Questions while filling out I-130
A lot of people don't have a ceremony until after especially if they're living apart.
You only have to submit a photo of the beneficiary if they're in the US with you.
"and your spouse (if he or she is in the United States)"

O sorry I saw the Canadian flag and thought Canada.
depends on the quality, not sure how good that will look.
I used an app and took an hour trying to get the lighting etc right.
There's a guide online for what's acceptable and what's not.

People get randomly transferred too, I've seen people at Texas get transferred to slower service centers.

Babu Frik got a reaction from Morty in Could it really takes 12 and half months for the I-130 petition to get approved?
Texas slowed down due to the pandemic but had been moving faster.
Did you get notified that you were transferred? I hear a lot of people get transferred without being notified.

Babu Frik got a reaction from Morty in US citizen under 3 year rule and now getting married again
Get over it, the relationship is over and the papers are already filed, there's nothing abnormal about this in American life, aside from the immigration part.

Babu Frik got a reaction from Morty in What's the next step?
Are you saying you haven't received NOA1, or you expected to hear something regarding approval?
