We just got notification for 'New Card is Being Produced' for our EAD! We submitted an expedite last month and it got approved just today. We're so thankful.

We contacted a live agent via EMMA who then sent us a request for more evidence regarding the expedite. After we faxed that to them, it was smooth sailing

We still haven’t gotten the physical mailed notice yet because we found out through EMMA online today. Hoping we get it early next week or else I’m going to be stressed 😥

We just received one NOA for our I-131. Hopefully the other two for I-765 and I-485 follow soon! Has this ever happened to anyone else? They’ve only received receipt notices for one but the others follow later maybe?

Yeah sure! No, we are not filing I-130 because my husband arrived here on a K-1 visa. And I am actually the US citizen sponsoring my husband! He's Canadian
 
Thank you. We just found that our AOS packet got delivered last night around 1am - super late but really happy it's there now!

Hi all - submitted my AOS, EAD and AP by USPS on June 8. It was delivered early on June 11. Yesterday (June 17) I received my text messages with receipt numbers for each form. My check has already been cashed too.
 
Less than a week for the receipt - that is much faster than what most people have been reporting the past few months! Hopefully a sign that the backlog is starting to clear.... though not holding my breath yet.

My husband and I went to drop off the AOS packet with UPS last night, so now it's finally on its way! 😁

Yeah.. definitely doing FedEx next time. Thanks for letting us know. We’re going to continue to check on this and see if it gets delivered by Monday. This is making me so nervous and it’s only the beginning ahh! What did you guys decide with your payment authorization problem?

Anyone who filed their paperwork last week reached the Chicago Lockbox yet? According to USPS tracking, our AOS package has been stuck at the Chicago Distribution Center since yesterday morning and expected delivery was today by 9pm, but it doesn’t even say “out for delivery” yet . Is there a delay with USPS right now at chicago? 

Sent in our AOS package via USPS priority mail today! Now just to wait for NOA1.. then biometrics.. then the EAD… then the interview .. lol

I'll start the thread off. My fiance (now husband - gotta get used to it lol) arrived on a K1 visa this past Saturday and just got married today! Planning on getting the AOS stuff together tomorrow so that the only thing that's left to include is the marriage certificate so we can send off the file early next week or even Friday! I know we're in for another long, long wait after an already unnecessarily long K1 process but here's to being optimistic and praying for the quickest process!

2021
02/20/2021: Biometrics Appointment Letter date
03/03/2021: I did an expedite request for I-765 despite of not having a biometrics appointment yet. I chatted EMMA and requested for a live agent. The agent created the request without asking me if I'm already done with biometrics. (I read this from many people doing expedite, doing an expedite request even w/o bio appt triggers the scheduling of bio).
03/04/2021: I got the biometrics appointment notice in the mail. Appt is for 03/19/21. 
03/05/2021: I tried to do early walk-in to my ASC for bio, but San Diego is very strict about the appointment schedule. (Note that some ASCs are accepting early walk-ins as long as they have their appointment letter) - This is just me being impatient and for doing nothing everyday for the last six months
03/15/2021: I received a mail from USCIS that they can't expedite the I-765 yet because I haven't done the biometrics yet. Told me to submit another once I'm done with biometrics.
03/19/2021: Biometrics done for I-485 and I-765
03/20/2021: Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken (I-485 & I-765)
 
**For I-765**
03/22/2021: I did another expedite request for I-765 but unfortunately the agent made an error, instead of creating a new expedite request, he just gave me the old reference. I didn't realized it until 03/30/21. I was wondering why the status of my I-765 didn't change to Expedite Request Received, so I checked my first ref for ExpReq and voila, it's the same! (This was late afternoon so maybe he's already tired). Typically the status of I-765  will change to Expedite Request Received a day after you filed the request.
03/30/2021: I contacted USCIS again via emma for an expedite request to I-765. This time, the agent was very friendly and was replying super fast (this was early morning). The agent filed a new ExpReq and gave me a new reference ID. She told me that the last agent that I talked to didn't file for a request. 10 days was wasted but thankfully I realized it sooner.
03/31/2021: I-765 status changed to Expedite Request Received
04/01/2021: I received an email from USCIS that I need to fax them supporting documents regarding my request (I filed under financial loss).
04/02/2021: I faxed a 66 pages supporting documents. I mainly submitted documents that I (alone) are having financial loss and not our household (me and husband).
2 pages for a cover letter, stating my current situation. I pointed out 3 factors why they should approve my request; 1. Under financial loss 2. Humanitarian Reason (I am supporting my father's medical expenses) 3. USCIS Error (when the agent didn't file another ExpReq on 03/22/21). A summary of my monthly expenses ever since I entered US (08/01/2020) My bank statements (bank from my home country) since 08/01/2020 04/09/2021: Request for Additional Information Received (I-765)
04/12/2021: New Card is being produced (early morning) -- I still don't know if this will be a combo card, but typically when you expedited I-765 your I-131 will also be approved (if you applied for it).
 
**For I-485**
04/05/2021: Case is Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview - No RFE yet, hopefully I don't receive one since I submitted I-693 together with I-485.

Now, I am patiently waiting for the EAD to arrive.

I'm a K1 but I've been following both CR1/IR1 and K1 cases. The same thing happened to us from Dec 2020-Feb 2021 where they did not schedule any K1 interviews. I don't know why they keep pausing one or the other. They should do both simultaneously but maybe limited in each so they get through both backlogs. It's not fair to either category with what they're currently doing because it looks like they're just taking turns. Another thing is that in both May and now June there were only 2 dates scheduled for K1's, which is insane! They had at least 15 other business days to schedule either K1 or spousal interviews and they didn't..
 
I also wish the consulate would be more transparent with their procedure and let us know exactly what's going on. When there are holidays like the previous commentator said, do they not do interviews for the whole rest of the week? Are they taking turns for some reason with K1 and CR1? Transparency would give a lot of us some relief.
