  1. no just send to Vermont.
  2. You are sending to Vermont. It is safe to travel. I traveled almost 7 times on AP there was no issue whatsoever.
  3. I think this is doable. I would say hire a good attorney. Also write a new personal statement with everything with more detailed information. Best of luck!
  4. no tier 2 will not have much access either. Just him/her for the appointment.
  5. that is so messed up. try to chat with them through emma. second if you make a phone call again tell them you want to speak to tier 2 officer then explain your situation.
  6. Then i would say return that to USCIS that has your i-360 receipt number. It must be a mistake from their end.
  7. That is strange. What is status of your i-360 right now?
  8. Yes go for it. I wish you best of luck!
  9. Hi Verrou, Does it necessary to change the SS from restricted to unrestricted? I never changed after getting my green card. Is that gonna impact either say in the future? What do you recommend?
  10. What is your field office? I would say do the info pass. That really helped me.
  11. That is the main reason for the info pass since they do not have access to our files. I went there twice. When i called them they told me same thing then i said sir that is the reason i want to visit to see the status since you do not have access to my file. try again time you will get it and take the backgorund copy with you.
  12. you should make an info pass appointment to find out status of your case.
  13. it is not gonna hurt by get the opinion form other attorneys. Consult at least one or two just to make sure everything is fine what your attorney is doing.
  14. Have you made the info pass? The other thing you can do is to do your own background check and submit that result to USCIS. It is not gonna cost you much. I know personally someone did that and got approved within a month.
  15. basically that's what i meant to get out of court by terminating removal. Just consult with another attorney just to get an idea to see if your attorney is doing right thing. You do not want to get involved unnecessary wait time.
  16. You will be lucky if USCIS approves your form i-485. As olduser said, talk to an other attorney. USCIS will also admin close your i-485 if your asylum case not terminated.
  17. not denying that. but just interviewing people not making any decision? specially when someone already had an interview and sent the medical for 3 months now. lol
  18. It should be straight forward from this point. Those people just sitting on our files for nothing. After the interview if they just ask you for the medical then i do not see any reason for delay except they are just lazy.
  19. I agree what demise said. If your VAWA is approved then you can terminate your asylum. Hire a good attorney. USCIS will not make any decision until you are out of court. Do not delay.
  20. what?? Did you inquire about your i-485? What is the status of it? When did you apply for i-485? Did you send it together with VAWA or after the VAWA approval?
  21. yeah when my case was approved at that time USCIS was taking 24 months but they decided mine in 26. Right now USCIS is taking 35 so you are almost there.
  22. I didn't receive RFE just 4 prima facia. I had to wait 26 months. There are many other who didn't even receive prima facia just straight to approval.
  23. Just hang in there. You almost there. Once VAWA approve then in 6 months you should get your green card depending on how busy is your field office is.
  24. You can still file within 6 months of the expiration date on their current EAD.
