90DayFinancier got a reaction from laylalex in Don McGahn must testify about time as White House lawyer, judge rules
Look, going around and around with facts that are in the public record is a waste of time. You obviously can read from reliable media but choose to believe "alternative" reactionary sources. That is your right.
Feel free to read whatever conspiracy postings about pedophile politicians abusing children under pizzerias , deep state conspiracies, mail servers in the Ukraine, how medical experts are lying about vaccination or that CO2 is actually a benefit to mankind.
In this forum I regularly see institutions like the New York Times, SPLC, the FBI, the scientific community, the Intelligence community, and Federal Investigators slammed as biased, bought or bent. It's just like the President's lawyer said. "The truth is not the truth".
Back to your question:
I would explain to you in plain terms what the allegations are and why it matters. But the truth is , some no longer care about the truth.

Why does anyone think that citing to Shokin's "investigations" is a good move? https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/viktor-shokin-ukraine-prosecutor-trump-biden-hunter-joe-investigation-impeachment-a9147001.html
It's important not to cite to debunked conspiracy theories.

TJ's is fine -- if you don't have a car. I do not think I have ever been in a TJ's parking lot that didn't trigger a panic attack. Okay, that's a lie, come to think of it. The TJ's lot in Pasadena is okay, at least the one I used to go to, but mostly they are way too small. I checked out the local options near the new place and there's a Vons and a Gelson's within striking distance (especially love Gelson's) which both have excellent parking lots. I think way too much about parking! I think it's symptomatic of being a Southern Californian.

I was thinking more about Lionel Ritchie: Hello, is it me you're looking for?
Cause I wonder where you are
And I wonder what you do
Are you somewhere feeling lonely, or is someone loving you?
Tell me how to win your heart
For I haven't got a clue
But let me start by saying,.......

When you don't have facts or a moral imperative, it is never to early to start a disinformation campaign! It's not like white shoes after labor day. 😄😄😁😁😁

It's a little early to start impeachment proceedings against Biden, is it not?

Why am I thinking these are lines to some emo song from 2004? Sorry, I'm kind of half-singing it in my head, and I can almost see the video....
This is what happens when you delay lunch until 3pm, btw.

No, not true, you are the victim of a disinformation campaign. The prosecutor in question was not involved in corruption cases and the timelines do not align.

Not this again guys... jeez, we've been all over this topic before in another thread.
Have you forgotten me pointing out before that thousands of women do make these decisions with their husbands, partners, bfs, and families every single year? That the rate of deaths of infants and mothers due to childbirth or during delivery is quite high compared to other countries, especially in rural and poor communities? The US also has an increasing and the highest rate of maternal mortality in the world? And that if men are willing to be men, and to step up and create life and be fathers, and care enough for a woman to not have an abortion after they have abandoned them, then they had better start taking responsibility doing so.

Your statement has no logic. These events occurred after the Mueller investigation. And If you have not been paying attention to what is aleged in the Ukraine case you have not been paying attention.

The consequences argument makes the least sense:
“You should keep your legs together.” “Your lack of control over your own hormones, stupidity, carelessness, laziness and inconsiderateness created another life within you." “She should have to deal with the consequences.” "We shouldn't have to pay for your birth control to be slutty'
A the fetus is supposed to be a blessing that you should protect and nuture into a child, but you get what you deserve if you are a Slutty ####### and have sex. Oh yeah and expect don't us to pick up the tab for well baby care or infant formula or a few weeks off.
-Pick an argument

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22270271 (Also note I did not make a distinction between natural childbirth and c-sections.) A good article related to this study is here: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-abortion/abortion-safer-than-giving-birth-study-idUSTRE80M2BS20120123
There are a TON of links out there very near the top of results pages on this that will say this study is incorrect. Beware of where they come from. I trust the NIH over an anti-choice source.
How amusing. Have you been speaking with @Boris Farage recently? This sounds like something he'd say, not you.

Because ultimately it is her body in which a fetus would mature. To require her to continue a pregnancy that she does not wish to continue is to put her in involuntary servitude, provided that any termination is done within legal time limits. What is the benefit of forcing a woman to bring a pregnancy to term that she does not want? I would think that having a safe abortion under medical supervision would be better than her trying to induce her own abortion. Women are always going to find ways to terminate pregnancies. Abortion has been with us for millennia. Keeping it safe and legal is in the best interests of all of society.

The GOP is essentially doing the Russians’ work for them

WASHINGTON — Republican lawmakers took to the airwaves Sunday to defend their leader, President Trump, after a week of compelling and at times damning testimony in the House’s ongoing impeachment inquiry.
The most absurd and delusional of these appearances came on Fox News anchor Chris Wallace’s show. Wallace had invited on Republican Senator John Neely Kennedy (R-La.). At one point in the interview, Wallace showed an excerpt of former National Security Council staffer and impeachment witness Fiona Hill’s testimony this week when she chided members of the Intelligence Committee for promoting a “fictional narrative” that Ukraine — not Russia — interfered in the 2016 U.S. elections. Then Wallace played a clip of President Trump on “Fox & Friends” parroting that debunked same conspiracy theory — namely, that Ukraine hacked the Democratic National Committee in 2016, not Russia.
Wallace then turned to his guest.
“Senator Kennedy,” Wallace asked, “who do you believe was responsible for hacking the DNC and Clinton campaign computers, their emails — was it Russia or Ukraine?”
“I don’t know,” Kennedy responded. “Nor do you. Nor do any of us.”

Every reputable news organization has had issues , gotten it wrong , or even had scandals. Do you think there is a university, branch of the military, large government agency or large church that has not have to examine their systems and culture after a scandal? Do you want your military to stop defending you just because they had to deal with the famous hazing and sexual abuse scandals?
It's just common sense. You need the press as an institution.
