So -- good news! We received our biometrics appointment in the mail this morning! Finally! The notice was mailed on October 1 (arrived today -- 9 days?!) and is scheduled for October 21.
 
As if our immigration experience couldn't get any better, my fear was confirmed today. I was scheduled at the ASC local to our mailing address (our inlaws'), rather than our physical address. So.. I get to make the 8 hour drive from Pittsburgh to Hartford. Thanks, USCIS, for always keeping us on our toes ❤️ 

Biometrics Appointment Finally received after 9 months for 10/20/2020 

Super disappointed today -- I contacted USCIS for the first time in 3 or so weeks and my biometrics appointment still hasn't been scheduled. It's been 6 weeks since my local ASC opened and I'm super frustrated.

I'm feeling down about the EAD situation. On the VisaJourney EAD timeline all the recent approvals are for people who have filed in March and even April! Meanwhile us February filers are still waiting   I understand what happened with the biometrics, but I don't understand why March and April filers are ahead of us even for approvals. Does anyone have any insight on that?

We received an update this morning that we are ready to be scheduled for an interview.  More waiting for snail mail.  My mail lady probably things I'm a stalker.  i'm always standing outside when she pulls up.  LOL.

Congratulations! I'm so happy that your interview went so smooth! Do you mind sharing what documents you printed and brought with you to the interview? It might be helpful for those who have GC interview soon ! Thanks!

Good morning! My husband had his biometrics appointment today and it was pretty painless. Literally took about 10 minutes. Now, we are just hoping he can get his EAD and SSN within the next week or two.🙏🏾

Original biometrics : March 26
New biometrics : Sept 1
EAD Combo card rec'v : Sept 5
 

Well...that was quick.  She received her combo card in the mail today.
 
We can finally travel!!!!!!

New update: 9/1 husbands EAD card was mailed! Today 9/4 got the notification that our green card interview is ready to be scheduled! 🥳

It’s official! I finally got my combo card in the mail!
 
Here’s my timeline:
August 12: AOS/EAD bio @ Milwaukee ASC / case status updated to “fingerprints were taken”
August 14: Called to request for EAD expedite
August 17: Expedite request received / AOS updated to “ready to be scheduled for an interview”
August 18: Expedite request denied
August 26: EAD new card is being produced
August 27: EAD/AP approved
August 31: EAD/AP approval notices received / EAD card was mailed to me
September 2: SS Card received
September 3: Combo card received
 
Like I said, I’m not sure if asking for our congressman’s assistance helped with my approval. The day before I got approved, they received my documents and the person I was talking to said that they were going to send it up to the USCIS that same day. 
 
I didn’t have biometrics appointment for AP and was told that I have to come back. I didn’t receive an appointment and they just applied it to my AP (Thank God!). 
 
Hoping everyone will receive great news soon! This has been crazy 🤯 Always grateful to this forum.

My husband @osally1 did his biometrics on 09/01 and also had another scheduled on 09/02 but they allowed him to do both while he was there 🙏 . From start to finish it took about 8 mins for him. This was the Dallas South office. He had a job interview on 09/02--Got the job!!. Now it says that his EAD card is in the mail!!! Now he has to take his driving test on 09/04-- wish him luck🤞. This has been a very eventful week of getting things done!
P.S. His SSN was issued already on 08/11/2020

Hello everyone! Just got another update. Card is being produced! Never got the approval notice or anything but hopefully I get my card soon! 

Claudia's I-765 was updated this morning to show "card was mailed!"  It's only showing on the case tracker site though...….
 
Does anyone know how to track the shipment?

No expedite 
Never had an appointment cancelled. 
Fingerprints applied on 8/5/2020 to AOS and EAD. AP stayed received until 9/1/2020 where it changed to fingerprints were applied. 
 
EAD changes to New card was ordered on 9/1/2020. 
 
AOS was ready to schedule for interview on 8/5/2020
 
Bio appointment was code 3 for AOS and EAD. 
 
I will try and update when I receive card. Good luck all.

I am now scared when mine comes.. the Agent just asked to take my mask off, and clicked without warning.. i looked horrible, like i was drunk and high with no chance of being sober.. 😂

My husband had his biometrics today! Everything went well and it took about 20 minutes ! We just got the update that his card is being produced and will be mailed to us! #excitement 🥳

Hello all. We recieved our combo card in the mail today. Did our Biometrics on the 11th, in Norfolk VA. Case updated to New card being produced on the 24th, " Case was approved" on the 25th" and Card was mailed to me" on the 27th. These updates were only showing for the EAD. The AP case status only changed to "case was approved" on the 25th.  We also welcome our son on the 23rd, so exciting times!
