We did the oath ceremony this morning, and now my wife can call herself a US citizen! 
 
Such a relief given the backdrop of heavily increased immigration enforcement.
 
N400 process took only 2.5 months, which was fantastic especially since she’s pregnant and the normal processing timeline would have put her interview/oath right around our baby’s due date. 

Late to the party here but figured I should chip in incase other Minnesotans need info. I realized after a trip to see wife's family in South Africa that we were due to file her N400. Filed online 28May25 and got the receipt same day. Interview schedule notice came on 07Aug25 for an afternoon appointment Tuesday 16Sep25.
 
My wife says her least favorite subject in school was history, but she's having fun making flashcards for her civics test and I expect she will do just fine. Hoping to be sworn in same day. Crossing fingers with everyone in the thread!

LPR wife did the interview today and she passed, officer scheduled her oath ceremony at one week later.
 
Easy, 10 minutes, officer allowed me in so I sat behind them. He was polite and kind, but also looked a bit sleepy. 
 
Wife was bit nervous that she misspoke our address, but the officer repeated it to her and asked her to confirm it. Also, when she mentioned being pregnant when asked about kids, he had her sign an addendum to the N-400 form to capture that “new” information. 
 
He printed out the approval and wrote the oath date and time, and instructed us to go back to the reception desk and get the N-445 form to fill out before the oath. 
 
So close to being done with this.

We just had our combo I-751 / N400 interview today (filed N400 May 1). The interview itself was very laid back and friendly, I didn't expect it like this. It was mostly small talk honestly. The officer had already read through our files when we arrived and said the application looked so well organized and everything well documented that she was very impressed. Didn't ask for any evidence that we brought, all she asked for was wife's GC, wife's passport, and our driver licenses. All that printing of papers and organizing for nothing lol
 
So after just some chit-chat and a couple questions, I-751 was approved. Officer let me stay for the N400 portion. The N400 related civics ( 5 Qs)  / english question (write down something) were straightforward and officer was eager to approve my wife to be a citizen. Luckily, wife was able to do the oath ceremony two hours later and we left the building wife with naturalization certificate in hand! Really happy to have concluded this process and this interview experience was so nice and friendly!

Interview scheduled July 19! I'm shocked, was thinking it wouldn't be until autumn. 
 
Interestingly, it's on a Saturday. Do they also have oath ceremonies on Saturdays?

ok. So I have received Interview notice this morning. Filed on 6/4/2025, Interview is scheduled for 7/26/2025. This is pretty quick. Out of ATL. 

Combined I-751 and N-400

Just received notice that our combo interview is scheduled in one month.

Had biometrics today. LPR was in and out in 5 minutes.

LPR wife just filed her N-400 application and I fed her all the evidence docs. On USCIS we got the receipt number and oddly it says "error retrieving case status" (its ALWAYS something, lol)
 
Checked egov.uscis and it says "case was received and receipt notice was sent"
 
Hopefully the error resolves on their end tomorrow... and that biometrics gets reused.

Our beneficiary stuff doesn’t have dates, just my spouse’s full name on my financial accounts. Sent it in. 

same, bio was scheduled according to egov. Which was fast. Don’t know the date, will have to log into myuscis and check. It does say if we haven’t received the mailed notice by june 8, request it online. So it must be soon after that date
