  1. No we're not allowed to live together, it goes against our mutual belief and family system, we do not want to live together before marriage
  2. you're all misunderstanding, we don't wanna waste more time before getting together , we just wanna live together, if possible through k1 visa why waste time planning temporary trips before filing the k1
  3. that link doesn't work and we've been together for 4 years continuously there's no spur of the moment or mail ordered stuff
  4. well you get used to the distance and 18 to 24 months won't mean much when you have spent 4 years waiting since 2019, and all you care about at that point is just to start your life together instead of short temporary meetings that ends with another painful goodbye to who knows when again
  5. there's no such difference, not even religious, not even a language barrier, age gap is only 3 years and the male in the relationship is older
  6. We want to continue to meet, but why not just move together already if possible through the k1 visa, that's why I'm asking this, and what if we meet again for few days and it's still not enough, is it even worth it in terms of visa approval
  7. Me and my fiancé are in the process of applying for a k1 visa after meeting only once in person for a few days on vacation in a different country (not any of our home countries) that was 6 months ago now we're hearing a few opinions here and there that says it might not be enough and we should meet more times especially dealing with the US embassy Tunis even professional ones saying they could be "scrutinizing" with our case Even though the age gap is only 3 years and the relationship has been going for almost 4 years and the only reason we didn't see each other earlier was obviously COVID Do we really have to worry that it would come in the way of getting the visa? Or is it enough to meet one time, we don't wanna waste more time planning more trips and going back and forth we both already decided we should get together. Thank you.
