  10. it is not a taste it is Sisu is a unique Finnish concept. It is a Finnish term that can be roughly translated into English as strength of will, determination, perseverance, and acting rationally in the face of adversity. Sisu is not momentary courage, but the ability to sustain that courage. It is a word that cannot be fully translated.
  11. Even if u find work now , your 2023 tax return would not show a full year of wages How will u show u can afford the health care insurance to overcome the totality of circumstances so your fiancee will not become a public charge u assume brother will support her but the I 134 is not an agreement to actually support the immigrant and is not legally binding like the I 864 for spouse visa I would say that u not only need a job but need to show steady employment to apply to support financially your fiancee and u need to look into the AOS process and expenses as after a US marriage this is quite costly on top of looking into health care insurance costs in your state to show u can afford this at the interview filing now without steady employment could mean a denial
  12. alcan not imagine what CO was concerned with but if few questions and just the petition and DS 160, something sparked sending the petition back The AP for additional security checks may be worth filing to see what happened
  13. the OP posts could not be answered except by perosnal opinion or what we have seen but no one here can answer OP question with absolute certainity
  14. no reason to worry although most are nervous as it concerns the future not a high fraud country tell him he is Finnish and remember SISU
  15. in another country ? what does that mean what country? no I 94 _not all do I 94 like US and UK are u asking as he needs criminal report from the other country or if it might be deemed overstay that would hamper a US visa? US doesn't care if they overstay elsewhere unless it is a violation on a criminal report that needs explanation
  16. 10 days together along with age gap and possible denial is more than just extra cost some of us have spent a great deal / all in all mine was well over $35000 CO may be more worried about the 10 days with actual physical contact i wish them well but please have her sign up for VJ. there''s a lot to know and u seem to concentrate on 1 issue only does this Muslim man know he can't work for an extended time to AOS?
  17. Are u going to be independent contractor / subcontracting part of this company work load? then, you might need a contract stating the terms of the job
  18. would be helpful for u to know why K1 was denied. there may be issues u have to overcome even in a CR1 the intending immigrant should have a clue as to questions asked and responses from the CO
  19. Last name with Immigration? easiest to do when u apply for naturalization in the US community, change it with marriage document at DL center, bank, etc and start using it
  20. K1 is a poor choice as it is quite a bit more expensive than the spouse visa and for a muslim man who is suppose to support the wife even a poorer choice as the man can not work till he completes AOS in US and has EAD /or actual green card. 10 year difference/ 10 days only in person/ woman can not have children/ Muslim man never married so i assume has none of his own and is expected to have them YES all those are and can be issues. Will they be denied K1 ? No one here can know or say for certain. My K1 with age difference was denied 20 K1's for Jordan were approved in April (last report posted) If denied and they do deny many, she can go and marry and try for CR1 but that wastes about 2 years. AGAIN please have her join VJ we will not, (especially me) judge her for the 10 year age difference but there are things she, herself , needs to know about the cost of K1 and AOS and benefits of spouse visa. to her allah yekbel
  21. country? actual age difference? if having a family (children ) is important in his country , then yes, can be an issue and yes. she needs to join and find research the process and income needs I would not do K1 but make several in person visits and marry for the spouse visa/ stands a better chance and K1 is more expensive
  22. he's ill informed call embassy to see if they accept DCF and they will want to see US job offer lawyer really not needed
  23. Not an issue Many of us do the cheapest ticket just don't buy till that visa is in hand and there is no problem planning to return home for a visit or to settle things
