Our biometrics was originally on March 19th so we're waiting for a new date. My husband did receive a date (April 3rd ) for his biometrics for the I-131! Hoping to get a new date for his other forms in April as well. Everyone stay safe 😊

Hello everyone,
We sent off our packet (I-485, I-765, and I-131, so basically the three forms) on 2/17. It was delivered 2/19. We got a message with 3 case numbers yesterday 2/24 and dreadfully looked at my bank account and saw the check was cashed today 2/25. Now we wait 😂 good luck to everyone.

Hello everyone,
I'm a little nervous. I just sent off my husband AOS packet and it should be delivered by Wednesday. We had to wait a long time to get my cosponsor letter from employer. His I-94 expires on Monday and we're nervous that his status will be illegal or that they won't open and document the application on time. Any thoughts? Are we going to be okay?

thank you for your replies!
another question-do we have to write N/A for the blank spaces or can we leave them blank?

For the medical form i-693, does my husband need to fill it out if he did his medical exam in October in Nigeria before coming?

Is it possible for my husband to start taking classes at a college with his Current immigration status? We will be filing for AOS this month? Sorry another question, for those whos fiancés are seeking for work to financially contribute and not be home all the time, what sort of jobs did they find/are looking for? I know before the work permit you cant get an actual job however any side gigs you guys know of?

I have a question about schooling. We are submitting our AOS packet this month. My husband wants to start taking classes at a community college this semester, I was wondering if he can do that with his immigration status? And how would that process work? Or do we have to wait until he has his green card before he can start School?
Thanks!

I included WhatsApp call logs, I put about 4-5 from each month in a collage. I showed the date, time and mins/hours talking, if that makes sense. But I think what you have can work too.

They didn’t ask you for any bank account documentation during the interview? Did you provide it before hand? It’s listed as a supporting evidence document for the I134.
We didn't submit any bank statements either. We used IRS 2 years worth of transcripts as well as a letter from the bank stating how much I had and when I opened the account.

Hello Again,
So I submitted my K1 visa application and got the notice that it was received on 09/23/19. On 10/23/19 I received a notice that said the application was approved and that it is being forwarded to the consulate..... IS THIS FOR REAL!!!!!! I have called NVS and they said they have not received the file yet from USCIS yet and that it can take 6 weeks. That was the status as of Friday.
I guess my question is this for real am I missing something... the first paper I got was just a white paper but the one I received on 10/23 is like a greenish document thicker like official.... I am freaking out.. is it possible to be approved that fast! Please help
Wow congratulations! That second paper sounds like the NOA2 approval letter! Some applications are processed faster than other, its normal 😊 congrats again !

He should get national population commission (npc) birth attestation of age to stand as his birth certificate
Thank you!!!!!!

For those who have entered America or have been here for a while, were you able to use your declaration of age to pass the port of entry or did you have to get a different document? My fiancé doesn’t have his birth certificate and at his interview the CO said he can’t use his declaration of age to enter America and that he needs another document to apply for his green card when he gets here. Does anyone have any idea about this or what other documents you used for this? My fiancé can’t remember what the CO said since he was so focused on answering the questions. Thanks!

Another question 😁 for those who already had their interviews, how much proof of relationship documents did your fiance bring to their interview? Is there a limit? Is there such thing as too much? Lol

Heloo Everyone, i need help. The oacketv4 they sent me said i should fill out form ds260. I am applying for k1 visa. Please is this correct? i thought it is form ds 160? Also they said i should fill out affidavit of support form 864. is this the correct affidavit of support?
I received my packet 4 this week as well and it said the same thing. I wouldn't worry about it I think it's a mistake they made. In the actual email they said DS160 but the attachment said DS260 and 864. So just do the 160 and 134 and we'll be fine 😊

I called nvc n they said my case is undergoing additional administrative processing ! What does this mean does it mean nvc will deny my case ? Help
That’s normal, they told that to me too and several other people on here. Everyone case goes through AP at the NVC.it doesn’t mean a denial or anything of such. 😊

Same here! Congrats to you!
Missed the last batch of shipments out by one day, so this wait somehow feels agonizingly longer.
Onward to more paperwork 🎉

I have a question! Also update: had biometrics schedule in March but due to pandemic was canceled so hopeful to be able to do that this summer.
My husband and I are currently in California and we got a private medical insurance with Kaiser a month after he got here in December. We currently pay monthly for medical insurance we barely use but whatever, we got the insurance to abide by the rule about immigrants needing medical insurance.. We are moving at the end of the month to Texas where there is no Kaiser...would it be okay to cancel the medical insurance we have now and wait til I get a job (hopefully this summer) then add him to that insurance? So we would have a few months gap where he wouldn't be insured..just checking to see if that would be okay. Any thoughts?
